Wanna say I trust Marvel if it's Zendaya... But after the IM news, idk anymore.
Iron Man getting into Spidey's movie. News from like 3 weeks ago.Wait, what news?
She might not even be in the first movie
I'm calling this now, officially. Zendaya Coleman is playing Mary Jane Watson!!!!
When this turns out to be true, you all owe me $50

It's pretty ovbious that Zendaya is playing MJ tho :P
She did a chemistry test with Tom, was announced after Marisei and "she will have a minor role that will expand on".
I'm still a bit in denial but yeah, Zendaya is Mj (yay).
It's just a matter of time before Marvel confirms it or that we will see her with red hair imo.

I invoke the spirit of Majik and call you racist.
Mary Jane is arguably the most recognizable superhero love interest, I highly doubt they would racebend her. Zack Snyder didn't cast an actress of color as Lois Lane, why would Marvel do that for MJ.
Here's thing so people don't misunderstand, I have no issues whatsoever with Peter dating a girl of color in the movie. Just don't make her MJ or Gwen. Instead create a new character that they can get some mileage out of. Subsequently they can put her in the comics or animated series, just add someone new to the mythos, rather than changing a long-established character for the sake of being politically correct. I'm sure some people are probably tired of seeing Peter going after MJ or Gwen anyway, so seeing someone new might not be a bad idea at all. As for the "chemistry test", that doesn't prove anything. "Michelle" can be Peter's classmate whom he has an early crush on, or his confidante of sorts or whatever.

the race thing really isn't an issue for me I just can't stand her. There is no reason MJ can't be black. No reason. Why? I said I don't want MJ to be changed, not that Peter shouldn't have a girlfriend of color.
I ain't going to lie. Never saw any Bond movie.Do you guys like Daniel Craig as Bond?
"Create a new character" Um, what about Liz and Betty? They can be this film's love interest. God I hate the notion of them making characters for the movie. I said it before and i'll say it again, Spidey does not need to have original characters created for the movie, he has the best supporting cast in the Marvel Universe. It's unnecessary and a complete waste not to use them.Mary Jane is arguably the most recognizable superhero love interest, I highly doubt they would racebend her. But he's blonde! James Bond can't be blonde!I ain't going to lie. Never saw any Bond movie.
But sure, i mean he looks like what you think Bond would look, a man in his 30s wearing a suit with a gun and his hair well put.

Yeah, she could work too. That's fine, or maybe Debra Whitman? She is a hugely underrated character imo.
It's the same thing. There's nothing that defines MJ as black, just as there's nothing defines Bond as a brunette. If you have a problem with one and not the other, there's something going on there.
Emm, who says that? Who is the one to say ''he can't be this because so''?But he's blonde! James Bond can't be blonde!
