Did the city of Gotham not bother to rebuild this?
I thought you we're a newbie so I was going to post close, but then I noticed your number of posts and that you have genuine question. So then the first edition of the Gotham Times talks about the delays in replacing the monorail. There is a story about it not being built although Bruce has promised to pay for it, after all he order it's destruction. The second part is a map available from the viral site that deals in great depth with your question:
Please note the following service advisories due to the Orange Line reconstruction project:
Green Line service is closed between Prosper Street and Murtagh until further notice. Service between Murtagh, Haysville and Haysville South will continue on a holiday timetable during the week, and be closed on weekends for the duration of the reconstruction.
Orange Line service is closed between Wayne Central and St. Andrews. The Narrows is closed until further notice. Service between St. Andrews, Dullich and The Docks will continue on a reduced schedule during the week and be closed on weekends for the duration of the reconstruction.

He (Phil Hartman) went out the hard way. I felt the same way about his death as Heath's, a life cut short too soon.
I don't know how I'd have reacted if Heath's death was in the same vein
Hartman died?
No, but really CJblair, the thing about Heathy saddens me a lot. I heard he and his dad raced, too.......
But I am surprised this thread is still open...........
Yup, quite a few years ago I think.
I come from Perth, so Heath is obviously the local boy made good. I felt very angry when he died, almost as if God had cheated us of the greatest thing this otherwise backward city had created. He is our favourite son. But I also felt shocked by Hartman's death because I'm a big Simpsons fan. He did so many episodes and so many voices, I was also a big fan of NewRadio. Clooney said that the relationship between a TV star and a viewer is much closer than that between a fan and an actor because you see them on a daily basis in your own home. I would listen to Hartman's voices on the Simpsons then watch him later on, that evening, when NewRadio came on.
So I reacted to both deaths in the same way, but for different reasons. I would also add I saw Heath race once. He and his father were both amateur racers.
