It's not that I don't think X-Men shouldn't have white writers. All I'm saying is, with the state of the world today, an X-Men movie would be much, much stronger in the hands of a black/POC writer.

We would have a lot of things to say.

While I love the X-Men, I do feel like my creative energies just in how I think of things are stronger for other things. Not to say, I couldn't deliver a good X-Men movie, but I think I could deliver you a better Silver Surfer movie than my X-Men movie. And probably more of them. I have all the ideas for FF adjacent stuff

My Stunner movie would be Oscar worthy compared to Kraven, I guarantee you.

If it makes you feel better, maybe it was good the show ended since the creative team planned Jean to die after their Dark Phoenix arc along with Gambit. Scott ends up with Rogue.

Yeeeeah, I mean I never liked the show in the first place.

The only thing that grabbed my curiosity in that finale, was seeing how they would've explained Rogue being able to fly.

The movie still made $8 million last weekend.

Yeah, that's dumb. But WB tends to do digital releases faster than everyone else. So I am not shocked. But you are cutting yourself off at the knees doing this

I don't think digital sales hurt the box office that much. It's priced at $29.99 and it'll probably be around $20 to rent until it hits Blu-ray. It's not the same as if it was dropping on HBO Max, which'll probably be closer to October.
