Seriously, in lieu of the Justice Gang, I would've had more Lois and Clark scenes. Brosnahan and Corenswet really enjoyed each other's energy, would've been fun to see more of them together.

No comment on the cringefest that was Peacemaker episode 2 though.

And Happy Labor Day yall! This holiday is a bummer for me because it means cold weather is coming.

Are any of you guys watching Dexter Resurrection? Im only posting this here and not in the Dexter thread because i dont wanna run into spoilers. I gave up on Dexter a decade ago and never watched New Blood but I’m hearing this new revival series is FIRE and the character is finally back on track. Curious what you guys think?

It's well worth watching. I've really enjoyed it.

I amend my previous post. I totally forgot about Wicked For Good. That's my number 1 movie of interest for the rest of the year. That and The Running Man.

The Long Walk, Predator, Wicked, and Running Man are all I'm looking forward to. Also Benoit Blanc 3 and Del Toro's Frankenstein, but I'm not betting on getting to see those in theaters.

Its strange but the first Predator was basically an Arnie 80s action movie with an alien creature in it, and Predator 2 is a gritty cop action movie (ala Lethal Weapon) starring Danny Glover with the same creature, so you had a horror franchise that was actually a horror/action mashup franchise.

If they ever went back to that formula for the Predator movies, I wonder what modern action movie type they would use. A John Wick style action movie with the Predator put in the middle of it (Keanu vs. The Predator?)? Maybe a Marvel movie crossover (Deadpool vs. Predator?)?

After the terrible reception Secret Invasion got, they are going to pretend it doesn't exist. AOS is probably closer to being canon to the MCU than Secret Invasion is at this point.

You're so much better than me, because I don't have the patience for video games anymore. Unless it's a fighting game that I can just pick up and go, or the latest mainline Pokemon game, I could give a damn about it. Young Shinobi would be so disappointed in his adult version.

As far as movies, I only got two more. Some time after work this week I wanna go see Caught Stealing and then later this month, One Battle After Another. Only because I pray to Aronofsky and enjoy PTA.

Speaking of Shinobi and Video Games, the new Shinobi game looks pretty great, some old school side scrolling ninja action

Different Shinobi I know, but still... lol

That and The Outer Worlds 2 are my games for the year
