Intelligence is the best new TV show I've seen lately. they main guy has oddest face i've seen in a long time. when I initially saw him one of my first thoughts was "joker". the main chick is very severe, a real ball breaker but she becomes kinda attractive over time

Got the boxset of the first series of The Wire for Christmas, started watching it last night. Anyone else a fan?

Ham is one of the most repulsive foods I can think of, but it's a terrific word. Ham.

this is true. In fact I like to call people 'Ham' just because I think it's funny. It's nice to think of them all pink and shiny and tied up in string.

Crime. The first series deals with a murder and drug investigation by homicide and narcotics cops in Baltimore, but divided time between both the cops and the criminals. It's 'critically acclaimed' but has a very small audience, but the first episode really whetted my appetite.

I've tried watching the wire a few times but it's too bloody confusing. I guess like most good shows it's one you need to get in on at the beggining.
