That post went right over your head, didn't it?
because its not being made by the same peoplewhy are people surprised Tatum is on this list when Timberlake was a top 3 finalist for GL
That'll teach us.because its not being made by the same people
He's only going to be in puny form for a small part of this 9 picture deal so using CGI on that is not that much of a problem. Using the Ben Button tech for whoever is cast as Cap for evermore is a bit much. Too much of a waste of money when there are other people who don't need that. Although I think they're looking (or at least started to look) a bit too young for their Cap anyway. You're going to need it anyway from him going puny to Captain America-ish.
Do we have some proof that it's Marvel forcing these corpses into the auditions?
Because he's bankable.i would consider Campbell a better judge of talent than Johnson
and tatum auditioned for Thor if he was as bad as we think why has he been able to audition and be mentioned in 2 marvel movies?

There in lies the problem.and tatum auditioned for Thor if he was as bad as we think why has he been able to audition and be mentioned in 2 marvel movies?
Because he's bankable.
Well he showed up for two Marvel films so either Marvel likes to hire people that are so bad that they think Tatum is a good choice or Marvel thinks Tatum is a good choice because he's popular.
The best man for the job is Valley since none of these young punks are capable of playing Cap.
I think most of us agree there, but I'm pretty sure his point was that the common denominator in both films Tatum's been considered in is Marvel, not Johnston. Tatum is so clearly a studio choice because A.) he is bankable, B.) he has "the look," and C.) JJ shared what he wanted for the role, and this wasn't it. Branagh shot Tatum down after a screentest, and there's no reason to think JJ won't do the same.We are arguing over semantics. Channing Tatum shouldn't step foot anywhere near a Marvel-film casting audition. He's "pop" part of the industry.
