HAWKEYE & MOCKINGBIRD #1 HA $3.99
HERALDS #1 (OF 5) $2.99

I think I'll be using Avengers Prime as a test to see about picking up the main Avengers title. If Bendis can pull this off...maybe I'll look into that. Tom Strong is a definite, but I think I'll wait until the trade, mostly because that's how I have the rest of the series. Looks like a decent week overall

Real small week for me, but I'm looking forward to The Thanos Imperative. I'm kinda iffy on Avengers Prime, though. I wish someone else besides Bendis were writing this, but Alan Davis is solid. Does 'bi-monthly' mean 2 issues per month, or 1 issue every 2 months? I don't remember.

Thanks Tron Bonne.

1 issue every two months

I was afraid of that. So we'll see how Steve, Tony and Thor repaired their relationship when we'll be 12 issues into Avengers. Dumb.

Yep, in this case it means that. Although technically it can mean either. But I think 2 issues per month is usually referred to as "bi-weekly" in the comic industry.

Sucks that it's gonna take almost a full year to see what happens to Steve, Thor, and Tony. Last issue should come out February of next year, and that's only if it manages to actually stay on time, which we know Marvel has plenty of problems with.

I'm at the point financially where I'm like "Thank Jordan I don't have to get anything this week." I just moved and am strapped for cash, and have only gotten a couple of issues the last few weeks, so it will be nice to catch up.

IZOMBIE #2 (MR) $2.99

MOUSE GUARD LEGENDS O/T GUARD #1 (OF 4) $3.50

Wierd week. My maybe list is longer than my definate list. In fact, I can't think of a single time in my life I only planned on 2 definate comics. This is good though as I won't be able to buy all the stuff coming out this week.

Anyway... I read the original Mouse Guard mini and really enjoyed it. I might pick this new issue up. I'll skim Moon Knight if it's the Secret Avengers issue, if it's not then I won't. I'll decide on that whether or not it's worth the $4 price tag. Likely though, I won't get it. I enjoyed the last few issues of Red Robin that I picked up to test but I'm not sure if I want to continue with it or not. And anything Cosmic I'm a fan for, so being that this has something to do with a former Herald of Galactus (I'm thinking Frankie Raye) I'll at least give Heralds a look through at the comic shop.

Only two issues for certain, but at least they're good. I'm excited for the Deadman/Anti-Moniter story in Brighest Day, and honestly, Thanos Initiative has me majorly stoked!

THANOS IMPERATIVE #1
VENGEANCE OF THE MOON KNIGHT #9

Small week, but after May ended with two medium to heavy weeks, I won't complain. I'm not bothering with AVENGERS PRIME. One preview of Rogers and Stark bickering like two teenage girls while literally standing in the ruins of Asgard and survivors are being dug out was enough for me. If Bendis is responsible for one thing, besides decompression, it is writing super heroes as the most bitter, petty, nick-picky whiners in fictional history.

On the plus side, looks to be a good week. THANOS IMPERATIVE will kick ass, while MOON KNIGHT limps to a "hiatus" with one last team up story, this time with Spider-Man. After that it's a SHADOWLAND mini. My wallet won't mind the break, although it usually means a "wallet buster" sometime in the month.

I might agree if not for the fact that that is literally what the mini-series is advertised as. Avengers Prime is about the Big Three putting their past disagreements and squabbles behind them and learning to work together again. But before we get to that stage, we have to actually see those past disagreements and squabbles come up again. Hence Cap and Tony b****ing like a couple of old grannies. And no bodies were being pulled out of Asgard's rubble in the preview, you drama queen. :oldrazz:

Just saying, not interested. SIEGE aside, I haven't missed a Bendis-less pull list.
