Yes, a while back Armie Hammer was mourning the cancellation of JLM, trying to tell people that it would've been awesome. Psychologists were hired as consultants to help explain the script's portrayals to the actors, so that they would think like the characters did.
I had doubts about what they were doing, since Armie described JLM's Batman as paranoid "schizophrenic," even though real schizophrenia involves hallucinations, voices in your head, and disorganized thought processes. It was an extremist portrayal of Batman, going so far as to even be the opposite of how he's been portrayed in everything else.
Near the end of the script, Wonder Woman has her infamous confrontation with Maxwell Lord. But in the script, Wonder Woman hesitates to snap his neck. Batman does the deed without flinching, because he was supposed to be that callous and psycho.
If that's the way Armie Hammer sees the character, then I don't want him to play Batman in any future movie.
