Apologies if this has been talked about elsewhere, but I didn't see it:

Found this cover to Frontline #10

I know the theory has been thrown around alot that it would be Speedball under that costume, and I think that cover just about proves it.

Theres still a chance it aint him......

Also, how many issues is the Front Line mini supposed to run?

Unbelieveable.

to be fair, it was never really a secret. it was pretty obvious from the get go.

Except they try to have this mystery behind who is Penance. Just read the character profile interviews on Newsarama.

It was so blatantly obvious that it was Speedball I almost quoted Scrubs.

LOL at Marvel's attempt to keep secrets. Where did you find this cover btw?

Found it at Midtowncomics when I was looking at what was coming out this week.

I just read it... Penance is DEFINITELY Robbie Baldwin

:yay:

That is rather wacky. So, basically, Marvel is saying that Ditko's design is outdated, better to rip off Voldo from SOUL CALIBER, circa Namco. And a happy-go-lucky hero who absorbs kinetic energy is also outdated, best to make him a masochist freak.

I'll read it and give it a chance. I still care nothing for the new Thunderbolts though.

And it also confirms some of my susipicions about the end of CW; that in some way the SHRA remains, or at least those that registered before it's end will become full fed agents, whether they want it or not (Wonder Man's been a bit two faced on it, being gung-ho in MS. MARVEL and hesitant in FRONTLINE).

There goes my hope for Speedball being on the new New Warriors. Balls.

he reminds me of one of those monsters you'd expect to see on Power Rangers. any second now, someone's going to hit him with a globe of energy so he can fight a megazord at giant-size.

Either that or he's a putty and if you touch his chest he'll fall apart.

and Mistress, it shames me that I missed the scrubs reference. What quote were you referring to?

The "ducky" one?

It's where Cox told JD that there was a reoccuring patient that he actually liked, so if JD could make sure he didn't die, that'd be just ducky.

ah yes.
I've only started watching the show like a month ago but i've seen a fair number of them already and enjoy them.

Dr Cox and the Janitor rule.
