I hope they don't give the symbiote to Norman...lol.
In a bit of unrelated news, I just got done reading What If V2 31 "Spidey had kept the Power Cosmic". He fights Venom, and Brock refers to his own symbiote as "she". WTF?
t:According to the recent interviews with Whacker, they're continuing Brock into this story from that last one...

maybe the same as ours:I wonder what Brock's reaction is going to be when he finds out about this new Symbiote.
As I have said, this Symbiote really can be great and better than recent one's. We just have to wait and see if it works.maybe the same as ours:
"another one?
didn't we get a lot of that already?"

I'm guessing that the "new" symbiote is merely a new look for the original one... with everything pointing its way to this "new" Venom being a rebirth of the "old" Venom with Eddie inside the symbiote, perhaps it's a rebirth of sorts...
Seeing as how the original Venom has been ruined, I wouldn't be surprised if this is where they go, considering the writing talent on board, this could be a fabulous new era for Venom/Eddie Brock.

I think they should take the opportunity, too. I mean, it's been a while since we saw Brock as Venom and have actually enjoyed Venom, so I'm hoping that we get that awesome feeling or atleast something like that feeling when Anti-Venom debuts in ASM tihs coming august.Themanofbat, I share these thoughts, too.
I'm thinking this can be a fresh new start for Venom, as I said I've been a fan of Venom for years even when the going got rough. But if they can start over, I think they should take the opportunity. Like I said before, I'm willing to start reading 616 again, and this could be a good starting point.
Well, I always liked Gargan/Venom in Thunderbolts, but that was because of Ellis's writing. I mean, I never cared for Radioactive Man, either, but Ellis did it for me. And outside of Ellis's Thunderolts (Marvel Kinghts, Beyond!, Spider-Man Family) Gargan/Venom has been a joke!
Well, I read Thunderbolts: Reason in Madness. It had a Gargan/Venom who, while not as interesting as Ellis's, was nice to read about. And yet, it was a filler story. So even when Gargan/Venom does good outside of the Thunderbolts title, its forgettable.
It might be interesting to have Venom as a villain and Anti-Venom as an anti-hero, now that I think about it. It would deal with the ongoing issue with Venom's character without pissing off fans of either version of Venom.
The new Venom looks...interesting...

ahem when people start to rag heavily on Venom, hopefully this can give him some ammo and make people either like him or just decide he's not their cup of tea.Ditto for me, honestly I'm just hoping for a new beginning to make ol' toothy interesting again and to give him some needed growth. I just want Brock to be used and developed; I'm a Venomite, but it kinda makes me shed a manly symbiote tear ahem when people start to rag heavily on Venom, hopefully this can give him some ammo and make people either like him or just decide he's not their cup of tea.
