Whatever happened to Carnage anyway? Oh Yeah, Bendis had Sentry kill him right? I wonder if his body parts are floating around in space.

Yay symbiotes are rad!! The more the better! It's not like we got nearly enough of them in the 90s, and Toxin's already at the top of the A-List!! Woo hoo! Cheering my balls off, because I have to drop 80 points off my IQ to think this is a good idea!! Yay symbiotes!!

So then that means your IQ would be 0? Dude, don't do it....

I'm going to explode if August doesn't get here soon. There has been a gaping hole in the Marvel Universe since Eddie separated from the symbiote. I'm really excited to see where Anti-Venom will fit in the BND scenario but I want Venom ( not Gargan, Eddie and the symbiote are the ONLY Venom ) back for the long-term, not another swerve.

In a mighty Avengers issue (during the symbiote crisis and before the Doc Doom battle)
Tony was running specs on all the previous symbiote hosts and a few of them had current status. The writers created a potential way for Cassidy to return. THey said Sentry flew into space and tore apart the suit, but they said "It is unknown if Cassady was in the suit or not"
I'll try and find an exact quote soon.

Here it is, from Mighty Avengers 8:
"Sentry(Robert Reynolds) Ripped the Carnage symbiote in two. But Cletus Kasady may not have been wearing the suit." Also says Hybrid and Toxin are Inactive and have an unknown status..

A question: Venom's original motivation in going after Spider-Man was two fold. The symbiote itself hated Peter for abandoning it, and Eddie hates Spider-Man too for "ruining" him during the Sin Eater story (and also for Peter's rejection of the symbiote... in effect saying he was "too good" for it). When they bonded, and Eddie learned all Peter's secrets .. that's when the character had life. And a purpose.

So in this world, obviously Eddie won't know Peter is Spider-Man. And if the symbiote doesn't know it either... why would this character have any relationship to Spider-Man? Wouldn't people wonder why it's powers mirrored Spidey's?

Venom was never a "criminal" in the way of stealing/planning to take over the world, etc... it was just focused hatred on Spider-Man that motivated it.

So maybe I'm not following how this is going to work going foward.
