He should resign because this was done under his watch & knowing him either came up with the idea or approved of it
I very highly doubt that. With the way Murdoch has been acting, he's coming off as an old man who is in a state of shock, denial, and over his head. Murdoch wants to control News Corp. with an iron fist and this scandal and the aftermath have pretty much slapped the concept of Murdoch's immense amount of control in the face. He was a king of the media world, and now he's come crashing back down to Earth. Reports are also coming in that Murdoch is actually quite devastated by the scandal. Piers Morgan has come out and said that Murdoch expected his editors to act within the law.
Just because his company owns a ****** news station and the man himself is an egotistical jackass, doesn't mean that he's a crook or evil.
