They test more actors.Answer this. What happens if they're left unimpressed with the actors' screen tests?

Sad thing is he seems like a better pick than the supposed final five.
Imagine if the list had six actors, not five, and the choices were: Troye Sivan, Zach Mills, Nathan Gamble, Isaac Hempstead, Thomas Horn and Max Records.Have to agree with that. That list is so uninspiring.
Compared to Dylan, could Unger end up as an even worse pick for PP, acting-wise?I think people have said asked similar things about o'brien.

And then they'll turn to...Who is the funniest poster on here?![]()
That's a rather odd thing to ask; what sort of silly person would support Dylan for the role if they didn't think he was the best choice , acting-wise?

oh, that is the same article that talks about the shortlist, by sneider. My mistake, it was The Wrap. Got it mixed up because Sneider used to work for Variety. In any case, The Wrap is still a proven outlet.

He isn't the best choice, acting-wise. Even his biggest supporters must admit to that. They only want him because he he's good at cracking jokes. .That's a rather odd thing to ask; what sort of silly person would support Dylan for the role if they didn't think he was the best choice , acting-wise?
They either keep screen-testing until they find the right actor (even if it means having to push shooting with Spidey's character back) or they make a last-minute offer to someone without screentesting them (in which case we would get a proven actor who might not necessarily fit into their plans long-term, but would keep things on schedule).
hm. thanks man, but I can't really see anything on either of those.I'm not irrational, just protective -- especially in regards to what's been proposed thus far for the MCU Spidey.
I remember something like that being mentioned, I believe it was it was in chronological order.

you're asking this to the guy who thinks o'brien would do the best job ever as peter parker.Compared to Dylan, could Unger end up as an even worse pick for PP, acting-wise?
I would probably prefer Billy Unger to the names on the 'shortlist' which is saying something because I watched a scene of 'Lab Rats' and almost broke my neck cringing. Incidentally that Mateus Ward was also in the scene and was the villain. How people believe he was in contention for the role is beyond me.

My votes on Dark Raven, she's so much funnier than anyone else. And then they'll turn to...Who is the funniest poster on here?![]()
Funny as in they mean to be funny? Or funny because they do things which are funny but they aren't doing it to be funny but are being serious? Your choices seem like the latter. It's between you, harryoscop, and Talion.
Yeah, but he probably won't admit it.So... Dylan then?

Harryoscop?you're asking this to the guy who thinks o'brien would do the best job ever as peter parker.
I'll ask you a straight question then. Do you think Billy Unger is a great dramatic actor or not?Who cares he's not going to get it anyway...
he jumped ship. jumped back on for a while and then jumped off again.Harryoscop?

If the final five, whether they are the group claimed by Sneider or some other group, don't strike the fancy of the people casting, I'm assuming that that would be the first thing they do: go back and reassess the actors they looked at previously.Chris Hemsworth, 27, is earning great reviews for 'Thor,' director Kenneth Branagh's big-screen adaptation of the classic comic, but his 21-year-old brother Liam Hemsworth ('The Last Song') was actually up for the part first.
After poring over possible actors for months, Branagh settled on four to screen test, Liam among them. However, none struck the director's fancy, so he decided to return to square one and reassess some of the actors he'd looked at previously, including Chris. A few interviews, some screen tests, a supportive phone call from a powerful friend and a video audition tape made by his mother later, Chris had the part.

Look at actual acting skills, and Dylan doesn't have much to bring to the table when he's put against Highmore, Sangster etc (even Lerman).
Nope, I would not admit as much because I don't believe it. O'Brien is the best choice. He isn't the best choice, acting-wise. Even his biggest supporters must admit to that. They only want him because he he's good at cracking jokes. .

right, that is exactly my point.Regarding Anne Hathaway. She did a good job as Catwoman, but Eva Green would have been better.
