So? I'd still hold it to his credit.
He was good in ETE, I think better than the other two child actors.
Plus his voice reminds me of Sean Marquette's voice in USM game...nostalgia hits me hard when I hear his voice

So its more a popularity among tweens award rather than a merit to his acting ability. I havent really heard what his voice sounds like now though. Idk I guess I just would find it hard to believe he'd lead the franchise to victory but in the immortal words of dylan obrien at paley fest, who knows?

Yeah, they should be given the chance to audition, but cast who fits the role the best; looks, comedic talents, age, acting etc.
why would they cast an actor who failed the audtion for Harry? he has to LOOK and ACT like Harry too.. can't just cast anyone.

What is this "Harry LOOK" you mention? Is it Dane DeHaan or is it James Franco? They don't look the same at all.
Maybe it's actually possible to cast an actor who introduce a third look for Harry? What do you say about that?

And any actor to gets the role doesn't need to remind you of Harry when he's himself. The only thing that matters is if he can get into character and become Harry.
With some actors, it's possible to see or sense that they could transform that way.

I'd say Dane Dehaan looks like the Harry from the comic books.

And your original argument was basically like this: "Whoever doesn't get to play Peter should play Harry.".. where's the logic in that? Harry will have his own audition rooms...they won't just use discarded actors for Harry. (Yes I know about the Franco thing, but that was back in 2000).

The only Harry that is vastly different from the others is the Ultimate version. otherwise they all look alike.
