He's more Flash Thompson
If he's cast, and the people who called Garfield "*****ey" accept him, then there's something wrong with the world![]()

He can't change that smug face though!![]()

This seemed to happen not so long ago.![]()
Now he looks more like Peter.
At first I was on board for him as Pete, but then I found out he was 5' 5 too short IMO
I mean, he could still be Spider-Man. We know a lot of information, but we also don't know a good deal. But many are preparing for a shake up.![]()

The new actor should be able to act despite being covered head to toe. Garfield was excellent as Spider-Man, Maguire had to take his mask off every two seconds.
YES. The body language was great, especially in the Times Square scene when he's trying to talk Max down. As has been said before, Marvel knows how to cast their heroes. I have faith we can get a choice at least as good as Garfield.
I can understand the misgivings for Garfield as Peter Parker as he was a little unlikeable (which for me is what a teen is, whatever) but I thought Garfield was an awesome Spider-Man. I will really miss him if he is gone. I was glad to see the back of Maguire after SM3. His crying scene over a dying Harry was a freaking disgrace, 'I' could have put in a better performance than that crap.
I like Maguire less and less on repeated viewings.
Telling Aunt May he was responsible for Ben's death was a good scene. Other than that, nothing really stands out to me. And as Spider-Man I am going to say he was piss poor. Can't go back to a non character Spider-Man. That happens and not only will I be angry at Marvel for killing the marriage, killing Spectacular Spider-Man but also turning Spider-Man (in costume) back into a non character.
