Has anyone thought of maybe that Andrew Garfield guy?

I know, he's a bit tall, but he was fantastic in the social network. I don't know, I think he could pull it off, I mean, he does LOOK like Peter Parker.

Imagine him facing Norman Osborn as the green goblin? I'm sure Sony will do really well in this new series, and they'll get the series back on track.

Keep in mind that they may go with someone who hasn't even been listed. Ansel Elgort came to mind for me, but I haven't seen The Fault in Our Stars or anything else he's been in, so I can't say whether he'd be good or not.

Because there are much better choices: Dylan, Logan, Freddy etc. he's too much of the "jock" type to play Peter.. I could see him as Flash maybe.

O'Brien and Lerman seem to be the most popular choices, but I remember Lerman being the number one choice for a lot of people back in 2010. And they went with Garfield, who no one even mentioned here. So, they might very well go with a left field choice.

I think Lerman aged quite nicely since Percy Jackson. If they wouldn't go with a Teen Peter, he'd work great for a slightly older and more experienced Peter.

And Andrew was a great choice. So if they manage to do it again, I'd have no complaints. I still want Lerman, but if they find someone even better, that's fantastic.

Well Marvel isn't Sony, so I hope they choose one of the actors on from the casting sheets we got (Dylan, Logan and Freddy are on it)

Hey, kinda OT - but you know how there's a rumour that Andrew might be considered for another role if Marvel get Spidey back? What if it's NOVA!? He and Spidey had similar personalities for a while.

That'd be so funny if we got another Franco. James auditioned for SM1 if I remember correctly.

I think he's probably really sad about it, but hopefully excited for the new directions Spidey could go in. He didn't plan on playing the character forever. All the same, it's a shame that it ended the way it did

If I could choose, I would have Andrew transition over into the MCU without a second thought. Sadly, that's just not gonna happen, unless Marvel feels like they need to stick it to Sony, by hiring the guy they fired. But that just seems highly unlikely. So I'm trying to get over it now.
