Wow.

I never had a problem with him sleeping with Cheyenne... in fact I relished it because it meant that the engagement broke and I'm in the Dick + Starfire camp

I gotta say, this issue didn't really impress me. I don't think I'm gonna buy Nightwing anymore. I've never been all that much of a fan to begin with. Oh well. I gotta make room for the Wildstorm Relaunch anyway.

That's actually a good plan. I think I may just quit all of the remaining Bat-titles I get (barring, of course, Dini's Detective Comics) and use the money for Worldstorm stuff.

I bought this issue today, and being a Nightwing fan, I practically jumped in the air in joy. It's not back on the pull list just yet, but I'm definitely picking it up again next month.

Good point. I just assumed the break-up was a result of Dick reverting back to his old man-****e self.

Right, but just the fact that they totally abandoned that storyline and dropped him in NYC with no explaination really bugged the crap out of me. How long do we have to wait before they address it?

maybe it's just the dreadful first OYL arc that made it seem longer than the others.

Nightwing's been in the popular "Casstoons" quite a bit lately; he's being portrayed as emo. It's pretty damn funny.

NO!!!!

Nightwing has had a fantasic turnaround starting with this month's issue, #125. Dan Jurgens (I primarily know him from this "Death of Superman" days) pencils the issue wonderfully, giving Dick a late 80s look that somehow suits him. And the issue was written by Marv Wolfman, the guy who created the charatcer. #125 is a great place to start for those who haven't read much of Nightwing--it has a tight story, moments of baudy humor (gotta love it) and some dizzying fight scenes.

I think Wolfman will be writing Nightwing for at least a year. So we can expect some good writing this time.
