Any Dem that votes for McCain because they were for Hillary is now a traitor to the cause and will be dealt with accordingly.

I will go to each and every democrats house that votes for McCain and beat the holy hell outta them .(ala jay and silent bob style)..NO ROOM FOR TRAITORS ON THE OBAMA EXPRESS...ONWARD TO THE WHITE HOUSE

Yes. Go, Obama. Go far, far away.

Sorry, but I'm not excited about someone who is seeks to institute a trillion dollars in social programs (wealth-transfer schemes). Not excited about someone who says he will meet with leaders of terrorist nations (that are currently killing our troops) without preconditions. Not excited about someone who wants to surrender in Iraq by pulling our forces before we finish the job and the Iraqi government and military are self sustaining. Not excited about who declares one day that "Iran is not a serious threat" and says the next day that "I have always said the threat from Iran is grave." Not excited about someone who thinks Iran is just a "tiny country" (producing big weapons) so we shouldn't be concerned with them.

Not excited about someone whose background, influences and policy ideals point to Socialism. We've fought wars against Socialism in this world, and now we're considering electing someone who seeks to make America a Socialist state? Unbelievable.

I get the feeling you'd have made this post or one similar to it regardless of who the Democratic candidate turned out to be.

That's what I'm like. That would be like voting for the apocolypse because the warrior you wanted to beat it lost to another warrior.

Maybe they think McCain is a better candidate than Obama. SHOCKING!:wow::wow::wow::wow:

Even if that is the case, why would I want the same rhetoric for four more years? I support my party regardless. It's not going in blind, I feel they both have the same ideals overall, even if they have different approaches.

Yeah he's clearly a republican so I don't understand why he's posting in here?

Found this little memo to Clinton supporters; thought it was pretty good...

This has gotten ridiculous. It is far too personal.

I am a Clinton supporter. I am deeply dissappointed she has lost. She truly has won the most votes, although Obama did have his name on one of the ballots. I think she would make a great President and defeat John McCain.
However, though I wanted Hillary, there are things I want MORE. More than a Hillary Clinton Presidency.

I want someone to end the war in Iraq.
I want someome to begin looking into new forms of energy.
I want someone with logical thinking trying to solve the oil crisis.
I want someone to help the economy.
I want someone who can get people less privlidged than myself healthcare.
I want someone whose name brings the country respect from other countries.

And I really, REALLY wanted that someone to be Hillary Clinton. I really did. But the issues at hand are far more important than you, me, her, or anybody else.

Do I like Barack Obama? He seems like a nice man. He has some shady connections. Does he have enough expirience? I find this argument moot. Bush had 2 terms as Governor, was a President and 2 term Vice President's son. He had a lot of it. How did the work out?

I am not Obamas biggest fan. All of the stuff Hillarys said has made me dislike even more. But we all need to realize that there have been much worse things said in this campaign.

"We could be in Iraq for 100 years"
"Iran is training terrorists"
"The middle class tax cuts need to be perminent"
"I dont know much about the economy".

Mitt Romney, maybe. Rudy? Huck? Possibly. But JOHN MCCAIN? Are you kidding me?

Any Clinton supporter who says they'll vote McCain over Obama are not true Hillary supporters because McCain stands for everything she was against while Obamas virtually the same.

To all of these people saying "Nobama", the Clinton supporters saying it's McCain or Clinton, what are you thinking? For all the expirience McCain has in politics over Obama, they sure havent helped him. He loves the Iraq war. He doesn't know jack about the economy.

I know I, for one, could neve, EVER, feel right voting for somebody who had such an open disreguard for the opinion of the people he represents. McCain as President would represent US. The Iraq war is incredibly unpopular. The economy is suffering. The planet is dying.

And you guys are telling me you'll vote for him? I dont care how bad some of you think Oama would be, theres absolutley NO WAY John McCain could be better. None. Zero. Zip.

I REALLY wanted Hillary Clinton but, from now on, Obama has my vote because there is absolutley no way I want Bush term 3, and that is all John McCain is, wether he says so or not.

Well I just think we need a political reboot, because things are pretty ****** up right here. Like The American Conservative endorsed John Kerry http://www.amconmag.com/2004_11_08/cover1.html , enough is enough, it's time to change direction. I've been around the world like Lisa Stansfield's tour bus and I think Americans are as socialist as John Wayne. Not gonna happen, no socialist America or Kirk Cameron leading the super left behind tribulation force go.

The current administration has created the current atmosphere of nuclear profileration http://www.latimes.com/news/printedition/opinion/la-oe-cirincione4-2008jun04,0,6788398.story

The clearest failure is the Iraq war. The war was the prototype for what the Bush administration hoped would be ongoing U.S. policy: the use of military means to stop proliferation preemptively. Bush said on its eve, "Facing clear evidence of peril, we cannot wait for the final proof -- the smoking gun that could come in the form of a mushroom cloud."

But there was no Iraqi nuclear weapons program -- and there were no chemical or biological weapons either -- and the war, in the end, actually provoked Iran and North Korea to accelerate their programs. Both have made more progress in the last five years than in the previous 10.

The idea that we and our allies could keep our nuclear weapons and simultaneously prevent others from getting them also proved bankrupt. While opposing, correctly, nuclear efforts in Iran, the Bush administration blessed, incorrectly, the nuclear weapons program in nearby India with a special trade deal and looked the other way while Pakistan continued work on its bomb program and nuclear trade until it was too obvious to ignore.

Indeed, the most dangerous country in the world today is not our adversary Iran, which is still five to 10 years from a nuclear capability, but our ally Pakistan. Its unstable government, growing mountain of nuclear weapon material and tolerance of Al Qaeda bases within its territory give Osama bin Laden the best chance he has ever had of acquiring the nuclear weapon he seeks.

I'm glad Obama won the nomination (whether Hillary is willing to drop out or not), but the tough road's ahead and there are just too much at stake right now, with the ongoing Iraq war, an economy that is going south, credit crisis, housing market in a deep slump, gas prices soaring, and the country heading toward the wrong track. McCain (for all his straight talks and moderate stance), will just become another Bush in the WH, and no matter how much I dislike Hillary, if she had won the nomination I'd rather vote for her than a 3rd term for Bush, which McCain essentially is.

This November is a monumental one, because it will steer America in a direction that will be more of the same or something different. Obama is not the perfect candidate, and he does have his share of problems, but I'm willing to give him a shot. After 8 years of Bush and GOP in the WH, we have to take a chance and change the future.

If I agree with you will you just take whatever it is you want and leave without hurting my family?

This is one of the most idiotic rants I've ever read. Thank you. :lmao:

Being a socialist, while unpopular in the US, is not against the law
