If Magure, the lead, doesn't want to come back... Save your money and start working on the next Marvel hero's franchise.

There's too mucn money to be made in this franchise to not make another one. Arad already said there will be a SM4 with or without Raimi/Maguire, so you can forget that. My guess is, being that SM3 made over 880M, that there is no way in hell Sony is getting rid of Raimi. What studio is going to want to get rid of a director, that directed three films worth 2.4 billion bucks, knowing that he wants to direct SM4?

I'm not against Tobey and Kirsten coming back, but I'd like to have a new main cast. IMO they spend too much money paying them (especially Maguire) for their perfomances. I think other actors could do just as good (or even better), and they would be much cheaper. The money they save on casting Tobey and Kirsten yet again could be used for superior action shots, cgi, etc.

I don't know about Jake as Spider-Man, but he would make a great Harry Osborn.
