Yeah, I don't know why, but I've always found the metal wings to be kool.

So I have begun my First Custom Angel figure.

All I did was took the Head from one Angel figure (The newer one released in the X-men Line) and put it on the body of an older Angel Figure (The one from Marvel Legends Wave 10)

So Right now he's been unofficially dubbed "Angel Unmasked" but he is going to be the Alex Ross Concept version of Angel (I plan to make the Whole Team)....Anyway I needed to swap the head as this newer head is more grim, plus the other one has the head dress on. So Hopefull I can post a finished pic tomorrow....See Below for what I am aiming for.

I perfer Angel to have feathered wings also. Never really got into the metal ones. Isnt that one cool painting Alex Ross did? So Awesome.

I didn't buy it, but if I remember correctly from reading it in the store, he didn't appear, he was just mentioned. Storm said something like he and several other rich business figureheads were looking to put together some way to publically oppose the Registration Act.

Cyclops tells Surge that Angel and Husk (working with Cable) went out to find Nimrod. Wonder if they are going to still be a couple when Husk turns up in X-Men.......

I hope that Warren returns, but not with Paige. That was one of the worst pairings in X-men history. I think he will join the UXM cast with Paige showing up in X-men

I disagree. I like Paige and Warren together. I want them both on Rogues team.

they could have had potential if not for the horrible writing. Seriously Austen took everything that was cool about Paige and made her into a giddy little schoolgirl. She was smart, strong and a leader and when Austen paired her with Warren, she was all about him and those qualities went out the window. He ruined her for me. The only way I think I could get into her again is if they just end that pairing. Warren didnt suffer from it, but Paige sure did.

Well it'll be a different writer this time so maybe Carey will write them in a way that would make you want to give them another chance.
