Saw the first 20 seconds of the leaked version, and decided to cut it. It's crappy quality and the real hd version is coming so soon.. but I DID however see enough to get a feel of the thing, and the feel was "GOOSEBUMBS!".... This is definitely something else then Raimis movies. can't freaken wait to see this thing in full HD!!!

Wait for 3D! :woot:

This will be mind-blowing!

Calm down. I am not upset that the spider bit different place or his hand. It is neck. It just gave me a " vampire bite" feeling. Seriously, I don't mind if the spider bit on his arm, back, or even his abs lol. not neck, or ass. That's it.

It's the back of the neck though. I don't know, I kinda like the fact that he doesn't see the bite.

No offense to the guy, but I don't really see Peter Parker in this trailer. I just see.. Andrew himself. Guess i'll just have to wait for the film.

With TDKR trailer it did. And the 10 minute clip from S-M3.
I used to lurk here for the SM3 stuff back in the day, I remembered how much the place was crashing because of all the Spidey fans. :awesome:

Man, I've been visiting this website since 2002 come to think of it. Time sure flies by. Feels like a new beginning with the Spidey reboot and all.

The Amazing Spider-Man ! ! !
Now he's more gritty than amazing

I don't see how anyone can say for sure that the POV shots were gimmicky or crappy looking. The quality of the video is so low that eyes might be deceiving us. To me it looked pretty sweet. Wait for the HD to determine your opinions on CGI.

Especially if you were a toddler during all these films.:csad:

Those were the glory days, lol. I was so dman excited. Every time I posted, my post would be WAYYY under tons of other posts, lol. SO many people at once. it really was a blast back then, and there were less arguements in this section.

Kinda funny, the first person sequence was in Koepp's first draft of the first Raimi flick, almost verbatum the way it appears here. I like it though, the whole trailer is cool,

Wait, it could get better in the movie

and mmaybbee more Ultimate than Amazing. Wtf? :whatever:
The way Richard leaves his son kind of seems Amazing more than Ultimate talking of safety instead of missing school
The parents angle will need more explaining

I actually remember reading that somewhere, come to think of it.

It's all about foresight ladies and gentlemen. Raimi did good things ok. I'm not going to Raimi bash right now.

But he did leave a lot for showing growth of Peter Parker. What Batman Begins did, before you all start roaring about "dark and gritty" was give DEPTH!

I'd say that in later films, they didn't push Peter as his character as much as they could have. He never really grew out of his "awkward teen" phase. He never became the Peter Parker that actually had more women problems than he knew how to handle during his college years. He was still a bit too much of a pushover and a dork. But in the first Raimi film, I think there was more than enough depth.

And just because we're gonna see Peter's parents doesn't mean much to me, when measured against the fact that Aunt May and Uncle Ben have always been the more meaningful parental figures in Peter's life. And the sad irony is, this trailer doesn't even showcase them in any real capacity. Uncle Ben's death is the whole reason Peter even became a crime-fighter in the first place. You're selling Peter's motivation from the wrong selling point by putting more focus on his relationship with his biological parents than the Aunt and Uncle who actually raised him, and the Uncle who ultimately died, because Peter monetarily turned his back on one of the most important messages his uncle tried to impart upon him.

What I saw from this trailer was we are about to see some actual depth to Peter Parker. And realism. This movie looks like... a real movie if that makes any sense.

I suppose. Raimi's film had an old-timey technicolor sheen about them, but I always felt like that fit Spider-Man as a character.
