Anybody ever read The Shocker: Legit? It's fanfiction by the son of movie director John Landis but it's pretty cool and it turned me into a fan of the character.

It's badly made(The Amazing Spider-Man twice? and summer 2012 ), but I like it, I love the colours and simplicity of it. Better than the Thor poster we got.

Exactly.

The question "What were you expecting out of a teaser poster?" is ridiculous. Guess what, there have been interesting/well designed teaser posters before. Most agree this isn't one of them.. it's Spider-Man's iconic back? It isn't even a good visual.

Asking that question suggests we might as well not even look at it, since it's just a teaser poster, it could be anything, what do you expect?

It just seems a waste to me. Teaser posters are a chance for marketers to have a bit of fun, be abstract, iconic or unconventional before the needs of demographics necessities take hold for main posters. And what do we get? A shot of the the suit with the logo. Yawn.

I won't hammer the point home, it's not exactly the kind of poster that warrants being discussed much. But saying 'what did you expect from a teaser poster?' is a huge cop out.
