This trailer was great, which only makes me hate that ****** suit even more. Had they used the classic suit design, I probably would have exploded.

But on the merits of the trailer itself, it was very well done. Gave my enthusiasm a shot in the arm, that's for sure.

Ugh, the origin yet again? I had no problems with the reboot when it was announced, as I presumed that the story would start with Peter already Spider-man. Why would they retell an origin that was not only seen less than a decade ago, in one of the most successful comic book film franchises, but which most people already know anyway.
Even though it looks like there is going to be much more attention given to Peter's parents and home life, an origin story will always have the origin of the hero as its primary focus - and its a story I am all too familiar with. I do look forward to seeing the Lizard though.

And who did that CGI when spidey is jumping around pov style.. What was the budget for this movie 80 or 90 million for a franchise that has made multi-billion dollars. yeah like i said SONY DOESN'T CARE!!! They rushed this movie so they can keep the rights and Marvel not having any balls just let them do this!!! I hope this movie fails so badly at the box office and Marvel can get the rights back and take it to Disney..

I thought the TDKR teaser was better because that one split second of Bane confronting Batman imo was ten times cooler than anything shown on in the ASM teaser.

Again, the teaser gave off a really wierd vibe, but i guess that shouldn't be that unusual since from the get go of this movie being announced it has been a bit of oddity to see a franchise as sucesfull as Spider-man being rebooted with a new origin,

The fact that this movie is another origin story, is gonna really hurt this movies chances.

I think that it's important for this version to have that. I'm looking forward to this version of the origin. It looks more serious.

How an you be sure of that? Honestly. For me, I'm excited to see this origin. I know alot of people who are excited by this being a reboot and origin.

DO you have a crystal ball? I'm sorry to maybe sound condescending, but you don't know if this will be great or a stinker. It could hurt the films chances, it may not.

that's all any one says about Shia but no1 can present a valid argument on why he can not play Peter Parker/Spider-man. I thought Spiderman was anoying to his enemies, i thought Peter was Shy,withdrawn and insecure.. did any1 see TF and TF3, cause Shia was all of those things in those movies. BTW look at his box office numbers.. Men and Women Lie but, Numbers don't...

The people who are thinking this will be too dark and brooding... I don't think it will be.

The film has probably still got quite a way to go in terms of effects so far they were only able to show dramatic scenes, i.e, not action scenes.

I'm frankly glad there's a change in tone. I think the Raimi series did well at setting a fun comic book vibe/ feel to all 3 movies but I think this will be a little darker, realistic and serious.

The only thing I very much hope is that Peter is still an easy going good guy he's always been. I'd HATE if they turned him into Batman or Edward Cullen part 2.

I get he might come across a bit emo in the 'drama' bits but I bet when you see more of Peter himself he'll be the same old Peter everyone knows.

Shia can play any one of the major yougin' in thse universes........TINTIN..........PETER PARKER............ROBIN.........You name it. he has that charisma and charm.

But I think it's too late now. In his Disturbia days YES but now that he's a little older and little more buff, I think not.

As far as the NO NO NO NO's go, he hasn't said it since Surf's Up, which I believe was after Transformers 1. He never said it in T2 or T3 and he never said it in Wall Street.

he is a good actor, who can master improve and drama greatly. People dislike him because of his public persona. They can't look past that, which is their own problem, really.

^ how about because he in no way resembles Peter Parker, nor could even represent the qualities, traits, or character of Peter Parker on screen. you can disagree if you like but that's my opinion.
