I don't think the webbing on the neck has anything to do with him producing organic webbing.

If they went with the organic webbing route, he would have spinnerets in his wrists... not all over his body.

Could he not just throw a car at him, a sewer grate, a taxi driver? When you're a big strong lizard, projectiles can be found anywhere.

That's the type of thing I was imagining, a plan to completely corrupt the image of Spider-Man, with the Chameleon working for someone.

Yeah, to me it would adapt to film beautifully instead of having other villains that would adapt poorly like Electro or Vulture. He would make a great villain for the 2nd film.
