But would you say that it Pacquio' fault or PBF?

Plus, the real reason boxing is completely irrelevant now is due to the Heavyweight division being completely watered down and the over all talent being not as impressive.

I think they are both ducks. They pretty much pick and choose their fighters. I think Williams would beat both of them. :o

And just when I though Mayweather couldn't get any dumber.

I'm just playing devils advocate here: But have you heard what filipinos have been saying about PBF? Honestly, I could never be an entertainer because I'd snapped because people tend to go to far. I've heard them say the nasties things to him because of Pacman(though Pacman has nothing to do with it)so I can't blame him for saying it just to piss them off. Is it wrong? Hell yeah but he probably just said it to get Pacquio more upset as well as his fans who like him just because he's filipino. And yes, there are fans who do so and I know plenty of them. :o

Well if Filipinos have been saying racist things, then they're just as ignorant. Two wrongs don't make a right. And as far as I know, Pac has never said anything negative to Mayweather.

Well that's why I said Pacquio had nothing to do with it. Just go to any boxing forum, espn or yahoo or fox sports and you will see what I'm talking about. Race is always brought into it. Is it right? No, but sometimes people get fed up. But people can't just jump down his throat if you go to every boxing forum and media and it is constantly brought up. Heck I know people who cheer for him ONLY because he is filipino. Nothing wrong with that.........but just saying PBF may just be fed up. But he has apologized for it.

Oh believe me, I've been to plenty of boxing sites (I'm a board member on a few) and I have seen how stupid Filipinos get, still doesn't give Mayweather the right to say what he said.

Just like Michael Richards didn't have the right to say what he said to those hecklers a few years ago.

Nothing makes what Mayweather said okay. Nothing justifies it. People have every right to jump down his throat for what he said.

And who is to say he reads all these things said about him by some anonymous, internet racists? And why should he even care?

Yeah, and I'm positive you can find just as many people who ONLY cheer for Mayweather because he's black.

But he has apologized for it.

Haha, yeah, by saying quote, "I was just having fun.". That's no apology.

He obviously doesn't care about what he said or even understand what he said. He's a racist idiot, no better than the people you claim angered him into going off on this rant.

Dude I was playing devil's advocate. Relax. :whatever:

All your points were lame regardless. And that is me relaxed.

edit.

It's not even worth the infraction.

Awwww... :(. Hahahaha, say what you want to say homeboy. Or at least defend the argument your trying to make.

Good night of fighting this weekend all round.

we've got David Haye taking on Audley Harrison.. isn't exactly a glittering matchup but it has been well hyped up by both fighters given they used to be friends/sparring partners & now are seemingly mortal enemies, either way it will be a decent enough matchup.

Then for those of who enjoy any type of fighting, theres UFC122 which on paper isn't the most glittering card either.. however I'm thinking it could be a good card given that alot of the guys in the lineup are either good strikers or have a good chin, either way I'm anticipating more than one TKO.

THEN as if that wasn't enough theres the Pacquiao/Margarito fight which stylistically seems seems like a good matchup, at least on paper anyway. I think Pacquiao will be just too quick & technical with his punching for Margarito.. but I'll be pleasently surprised, its a case of guile vs brute force.

This weekend is gonna be sweet

Haye needs to man up and fight the Klitschkos after all that trash talking he did.

Margarito/Paquiao should be a barn burner for however long it lasts.

I really have no prediction for that one, idk if the reports are true about Pac not training hard enough and how will the move up in weight affect him.

Should be interesting.

Shane Mosley beat Margarito at 145lbs (awesome fight)... Margarito came in at 150 this time, Pacquiao 144...and at 5'6" 1/2. He's giving up a lot in height and reach, that's my only concern.

Just saw this myself, somehow the Pacquiao/Margarito weigh ins flew over my head.

Hes giving up alot more weight than I thought he would, it might not seem like much but on fight night Margarito could well be at about 160 or so.. and I get the feeling Pacquiao more or less came in at the highest weight he could.

It might not seem like much weight when you think David Haye is giving up 3 stones to Harrison & he gave up 7 stone to Valuev but trust me, the weight will matter especally in the lower divisions & it could be a deciding factor in the fight.

However the benifit of coming in lighter means Pac will be that little bit quicker, power wise Pacquiao is so explosive he'll have the capabilites of KO'ing Margarito make no mistake.. but Margarito should have a power advantage.. and defensively is where Pacquaio is weakest.

Tonight we could well see 2 upsets..

If I had the money, I'd place a huge bet on Margarito.

Margarito needs to look at the first Morales fight and the first two rounds of the Cotto fight, they were successful against Pac because of the jab and they bullied him especially when they got him up against the ropes and roughed him up.

But of course all it took was one punch to turn the fight around and there's no way of knowing if Pac hits as hard as Mosley to hurt Margarito, if he doesn't, Pac is in for a long night. (or short one)

edit

Thank goodness there's a free UFC card tonight, I'll be watching that until Pac/Marg starts because their undercard sucks hard.

Pacquio is a great guy but I just think that boxers over all select their opponents way to careful. Margo was slow as molasses and if Pac really does take on all comers, why doesn't he fight Paul Williams or Mosley(pre Mayweather)? Just saying.....Dana White maybe right. :o

You can say that about every fighter. Well why didn't he fight this guy or that guy, it never ends.

What did Dana White say ??

I just want Pacquio to fight a legitimate black boxer!!! and no Clottey doesn't count!!!

Haye obliterated Harrison the second he actually tried to fight him, first 2 rounds were absolutely shocking.. I thought I was watching a charity fight they where pawing each others gloves & using feints with nothing following them up.

Third round though Haye proved hes at a far higher level than Audley.. felt bad for him after though, he looked well gutted.. but the fight was over. Ref saved Harrison the embarassment of not answering a 10 count.

Pacman obliterated Margarito, he won every round bar 1, I think. Pacman/Mayweather needs to happen!
