There were no lawyers or "threats of a lawsuit" involved.

King Jackass couldn't afford to keep the website running. Nothing more, nothing less.

Oh..I guess I read one of his lasts posts wrong..:huh:i thought it sounded like he was being told to cut something out..or someone was mad or soemthing...I guess i was wrong..thanks for clearing that up.

No, you read it right. King Jackass was lying. There was never any threats of a lawsuit.

hmm...well I would drop by to see if there was ANY legitimate conversation going on...and it always seemed to digress to hateful back and forth...without fail.. ..... disturbingly so... anyway..can't say I am too sad about it...I had hoped, originally, it would be another resource....but found out otherwise....

Showtime, you posted this in the "The Plan is Just to Reintroduce Superman" thread.

11:27, Jeff says Dark Knight was the second most profitable film in history. Close to Titantic. "The obvious thing we're goign to take from it is more Dark Knight." We look at Harry Potter It's fantastic to have franchises that last that long. We want to do that with Batman and Superman and perhaps Sherlock Holmes. The sequals are as good, with new characters added, as were the originals. That wasn't the case in the years ago. "Warners has more tentpoles as an on-going strategy taht very much lifts its distribution and peformance." We think that's going to hold up our slate in the 2009 - 2010 period. We've got four more big tentpoles coming this year.

I'll admit, I feel I'm stretching it here, but it seems that only sequels get mentioned, and no reboot.

It's hardly much of an implication, I admit, since they could be talking about sequels of the reboot, but I feel it's a point worth bringing up at the very least, especially given the lack of real news.

So, in light of this consideration and other information that has been gathered over the last year or so, perhaps we can finally have a bit of a discussion on the topic at hand, rather than our usual tangential discussions.

I think Jamie would tell you to think of a "Routhboot"

I took it they were just talking properties and not sequels, but I'm sure hoping for the latter. I just hate disecting everyword looking for something thats not there......I've gone nearly 3 years with little info, I'll continue doing the same. Just that fact that it was mentioned is hope enough for me.

Just read this. The wait is just painful in some ways. Need some solid news on Bryan's next move soon.

This thread is about Bryan Singer.

You know, you're pretty friggin good at this.

You manage to keep the board under control without pissing anyone off and you even manage to offer your own opinions on things without inciting internet riots.

Not all mods have that skill.

Maybe the W.B. are about to release some news on a few other films as well.:super::ninja:

That caught my eye as well, it is kind of hard to figure out if he is talking about the Potter sequels and Batman or he is talking about future sequels for Superman and Batman.

Appreciate the compliment.

You guys are pretty good here for the most part. I understand the passion for Superman and what it can bring out of people.

Just like your chances with me.:oldrazz:

I'm not going there.

Folks, this isn't Love Connection nor am I Chuck Woolery.

i think someone brought up his name before what about alec baldwin for perry?

So it's ok that you can press your opinion, but no one else can?? What's the word I'm looking for?

There are just as many things wrong with Nolan's Batman as there is with SR. I hate the comparison, apples and oranges people.

I didn't say that. You can bash Nolan's Batman all you want I don't care. I love it and you hate it that is fine with me. However this fighting between Superman fans over each other. I'm just fed up and sick of it. It is just ridiculous, pathetic, and really childish.
