Well guys, after requesting numerous times, they finally made our Cap 3 forum!!!! Let's celebrate and discuss this highly anticipated sequel, which will see the return of Chris Evans in the role of Steve Rogers, The Russos in the director's chair, and the same writing team!

I know I'm excited! Gonna be hard to top TWS, but I am excited to see what the Russos do next

I'm hoping for a title announcement, similar to comic-con 2012.

Assuming Cap3 has a similar 1 year gap between the start of filming and release, then filming will be in full swing this time next year. If they were to announce it at a comic-con, it would be this one.

Of course, they don't need to announce it at comic-con. But the writers have been working on a script since late last year, and as they're the same team, so they're way ahead.

I want Red Skull and Zemo as villains. If we don't get more Red Skull and this is the last Evans Cap movie, I'll be very disappointed. We didn't get nearly enough Red Skull/Cap moments in TFA. Their relationship was really weak there, Red Skull needs to be established as one of the primary threats to the Marvel universe, and he needs to be undeniably established as Captain America's nemesis.

Zemo is another fantastic villain that should be in this, but as the secondary threat.. Red Skull can be in the shadows for a lot of the movie, and Zemo can be the more visible threat.

Crossbones in an outfit more along the lines of the comics would be great.

Black Panther could be introduced here...

I think they sit on Red Skull till the next installment, or maybe even a post-credit scene that deals with what he's been up to for the past 70+ years. Zemo as the main villain will do nicely. I think Bucky, Crossbones, Sharon Carter and Falcon are all givens.

I too want Black Panther and/or Wakanda to be a major plot point. But T'Chaka as the "current" Black Panther, and not T'Challa. I think the latter deserves to be introduced in his own film, but the former can be introduced in Cap and would segue nicely into a Black Panther movie, in which T'Chaka is killed and T'Challa takes his place as king.

An old (but still kick-ass) Black Panther, Bucky, Sharon Carter, Falcon and Cap going up against Zemo, Crossbones and other assorted villains would be an absolute feast.

I suppose the plot will likely be about Cap and Falcon trying to track down Bucky. Then hopefully all three will team up to take down Zemo and a fledgling Masters of Evil. It would be interesting to see both Zemos, Heinrich and Helmut, in the film, with Helmut as a naive, likable scientest who would rather be welcomed to a throne through his good works than follow his father's violent dreams. However, Heinrich is killed during his fight with the heroes, causing Helmut to swear vengence.

Given how early they've mentioned it, chances are its a character they have no intention to use and just mentioned as a joke.

I'm generally much, much more interested in the heroes than the villains in any given adaptation, so I don't much care. When you consider that Alexander Pierce, one of Marvel's best villains to date, is basically an original character tenuously linked to comics by having the name of a very different character, I'm willing to leave up selection of villains completely up to the writers.

Would be cool to see Madam Hydra, though.

Don't know much about 1950s Cap, but it sounds kinda bad. Don't think it would translate well into film.

Yes, I hope we get the title during SDCC so we can have some idea what direction they are going with.

I don't necessarily mind the idea of having 50's Cap or maybe Nuke would be dark and crazy as ****, plus it could open up some more diversity by introducing Isaiah Bradley through a storyline like that...but I think there are way better ways to take the Third film honestly.

I personally really badly want a great Zemo villain if we cant have Skull... Black Panther, Falcon, Crossbones somehow

Yeah, I saw a video interview with the writers where they said they weren't really serious about psycho 50s Cap.

If they don't bring back Red Skull himself, then they could always bring in his daughter Sin. Seeing her and Crossbone's psychotic, messed-up relationship onscreen could be really fun to watch.

I hope they bring the Zemos in. Maybe scratch the 'Baron' title since we already have that with Strucker. A couple of flashbacks to a mission including the father and the main story with the (grand)son

I'm trying to decide what would be the next logical progression in his own story. We've already had his origin, and then the outlaw go against the status quo storyline. We've seen him question the "institution" but that was shield, I'd almost like him to go up against American government itself. Would anybody be interested in having Nuke as a villain?
