I like anything Epting does. He's phenomenal. His painted covers are beautiful. And for as crappy as the CW trade dress was, his cover to CA #24 is among my favorites.

Moves, but not power. Cap's been beefed up to the point that he could probably take what Tony throws at him. Bucky's just a normal man in very good shape with a cybernetic arm.

No way should Cap be able to go one on one with Iron Man.

I think he means why would a Black Man, who's ancestors were dragged to this land during the slave trade, who slaved in America until the second half of the 19th century, who were treated like **** until the second half of the 20th century, and are still discriminated against in subtle ways, want to done the flag of America, the country that erased his ancestry...

that being said, I can't imagine Sam would feel that way.


Btw, just read issue 30, and I'm still in love with Brubaker's run...I reread all of the issues over the course of the past few days in prep for the new one...I really have to say this is up there with the best runs I've read.

It is a little slow, but I'd rather slow, methodical, well planned writing than rushing into something and retconning the **** out of it 6 months later (Looking at you JMS). Also...never say never in comics...anything can work with good writing.

That being said, this Time Travel **** better go terrible awry for Skull. We all know Kang The Conqueror is the only true Lord of Time.

P.S.: does anyone else think Sin looks like a combination of Pippy Longstocking and a suicide girl?

I honestly am not sure what Brubaker's got planned. But IF there's a new Captain America, I think I might want to see Bucky take up the role. He's the most deserving, in my opinion. He's also the guy who wants it the least, which could make for some interesting stories.

No....I think Stark will clone Cap. He and Reed cloned Thor. It makes sense because the Super Soldier serum only worked in Rogers without side effects. They have his body. Sheild probably has his brainwaves on tape or something. I think that's why Cap wrote that letter. After seeing how they reproduced Thor, Steve knew they could do it to him too.

or......Sharon's baby will be the new Cap.

I think a new Cap who's a clone of himself would be the last thing Steve wants. He says right in the letter to Tony that the legacy of Captain America is bigger than he is. How could that ever possibly be taken as an indication that he wants himself to be cloned and the clone to be the new Cap?
