So what's the deal with the whole intiative thing going on? And is all this going on while World War hulk is going on?

Yes. The initiative is simply the state of the MU post Civil War. Heroes are all signed up except for a few hold outs like the New Avengers lead by Luke Cage.

Gothca. So then Hulk obviously is screwing things up for Stark and S.H.E.I.L.D. and the Govt...?

If you ask me he's only proving them right.

Sounds good , but I meant in terms of organizing and capturing holdouts etc.

Oh, well, you know the deal. With Hulk showing up with an army of alien warriros and kicking the ass of superheroes left and right, they got bigger fish to fry.

Stark offered a temporary cease fire with a chance for amnesty to all who help fight Hulk. (Which isn't the reason why the New Avengers chose to help by the way.)

Damn it I had some questions but I forgot.

Well one concerns Captain America. What is the latest update with that whole thing. I'm up to the point where the Winter Soilder stole the sheild and plans to kill Stark with it.

So I read Captain America #29 and all of the Fallen Son Series

Oh, here is also what is a bit confusing to me. So Stark is captured by the Hulk in WWH, but he is still the head of S.H.I.E.L.D. in Captain America and looking for Sharon?

Is this supossed to be in perfect continuity? And didn't the Hulk also come back before Cap died?

This obviously takes place before WWH. You also have to remember that the events of WWH only takes place over the course of a day and half up to this point. Continuity is easy as long as you remember that everything is not happening at the same time.

Just kind of throws me off you know. I mean they release Thor #3 where

Then at the same time Captain America is coming out along with WWH. Just a little hard to place what is happening where and when.

Like I said, take into account the amount of time things take. Mighty Avengers for instance is four issues in, and has only taken place over the course of about an hour and a half. Sure it's been what? Five six months (Mainly due to the lateness of the book) but it's still just that hour and a half out of the a day that took place before WWH happened. Easy.

So yeah I am late to the party - never had the chance to get comics before but I went and picked up Civil War 1 to 17.

Have to say I liked it. Really liked it. It's nice to play catch up sometimes and read it all in one go.
