Yeah I totally think so too. Just from what we have seen of the Ult. Version of Colossus he seems to be much more tough.

well then that settles it. Ult. Colossus has taken down Ult. Thor....which means that either 616 Colossus is a ***** or he just hasn't had the right writers...ever.

Colossus is the most under-rated powerhouse in the Marvel or any other universe.
He is a victim of negligent writing not lack of power. Back in Uncanny Annual #7 Colossus took down She-Hulk with no problem. She threw a punch and he simply caught her fist and tossed her aside. When he was still a teen-ager he took on Gladiator and stood his ground (though he did not win the battle they toppled a whole temple down upon themselves) he put up a better fight against him than the entire F.F. He's the only X-Man that can stand up to a fully powered Juggernaut by himself (and now that the Juggernaut isn't completely powered by the gem he not so unstoppable) even Hulk has never really beaten a fully powered Juggernaut in a slugfest. More than once he has been described as one of the most powerful beings on earth. Peter has always held back due to his easy going nature, but after all he's been through he's not so easy going as he once was. Prof. X described him in Uncanny #279 as being as powerful as he is unstoppable. As for the Ultimate counterparts, they are just pale immitators. There is no way Ultimate sissy is taking down the "Real Deal"! Ultimate was held off by the Falcon with a gun aimed at his eye. The real Colossus has no such limitations, he is invulnerable down to his eyeballs! I also seem to remember Ultimate being taken down by group of physically inferior beings at a party or something, which just goes to show that there are inconsistencies in his displays of power too.
That being said Ultimate Colossus is my favorite Ultimate hero.

He is a powerhouse and is always described as such. They just don't display his powers to their true potential. Check out Uncanny #279 or annual #4 for some cool Colossus moments.

I sooo hope that wasn't a crack at his sexuality. if so do you forget what books you are reading? they are metaphors for those that are different, misunderstood and looked down on by society. That includes all minorities, including gays, as a matter of fact a great number of people on this board are homosexual. So please hold your tongue with language that can be deemed offensive when describing people and your favorite( and not so favorite) character.

The guy's just had the ego-mauling of a century and was left to die inside his own mind. He tells a murderous vicious sociopath to f**k with a glock. That's not quite posturing and trying to act cool. The guy's just *laughing* at his ordeal and doing what has to be done.

Seriously, telling everyone in the room that he's been broken down completely hardly qualifies as trying to be cool.

I belive this firmly,Claremont often wrote the character extremly well.I think Colossus could even be a condendor with more powerful heros..but as of late,the character has been torn to pieces.

I always thought this guy was stronger than Colossus since he's on the Shi'Ar Imperial Guard but he's only in the 70 ton range.
