Juggernaut could....Rogue could..back in the day. and of course Wolverine could, seeing how he is the everyman now. capable of doing anything he wants. oh yeah and Rockslide and Gentle from New X-Men

Yeah I would agree with those 3 but you never see them along with colossus in the same book too often, so I doubt we will be seeing that any time soon. And actually to think of it didn't someone throw him through the Fenris Building in Ult. X-Men? He was in human form and after they threw him he steeled up.

That'd be horribly out of place, seeing as how he's already spent a substantial amount of time on the "dead" list during his past...

As a whole, Colossus doesn't get a lot of play because of his pretty one dimensional power. He gets covered in metal and punches things. Oh, and he's quiet and shy. There's just not a lot to work with right there... And if you give any MORE power to a guy that can already crush people then it's just overkill.

Thing is covered in rocks, has horrible grammar and punches things. But for some reason people love his ass

So where do you guys think Colossus stands among the "Power hitters" of the MU? We got Hulk, Thor, Herc, Juggy.....I think he fits in at # 4 or 5.

I would say that is a pretty good list. But we all know Colossus is #1 even if he isn't as strong lol.

The Thing is funny (which appeals to a lot of folks) and a much deeper character, seeing as how he's essentially stuck as a rock-man and can't really go back.

Colossus is like the Thing-Lite. He's quiet and shy, and he's not stuck as a tin-man.

Oh come on. The current Juggernaut is alot weaker then he used to be. and Thing is a total push over. Have a large piece of metal hit a rock and ususally the metal will chip away the rock. And She-Hulk, I don't know too much about so I will just hold my judgement on that.

If there were only four beings in the entire Marvel Universe that were stronger than Colossus then he wouldn't need to be on a team, he'd be his own one man wrecking crew. And he's not.

I am not saying Colossus is the end all be all, but i still think he can take current Juggernaut and Thing

She Hulk is, well, has hulk level strength. thing goes toe to toe with hulk...or has..before hulk got ridiculously insanely powerful. colossus goes near the bottom. after thing, juggernaut and she hulk but above doc samson and strong guy goes to the bottom of the list (he has a heart condition you know)

It's starting to sound like even then you'd debate it... Colossus is powerful, no doubt, but he's not one of the top five heaviest hitters out there, and he's not close to those characters either.

Thing has gone toe to toe with Hulk before..and i believe he has also beaten Juggernaut(i could just be fantasizing that) and juggernaut EMBARRASSED Colossus in a bar fight before. Thing would PWN Colossus

Yeah Samson has Gamma Radiation induced powers, here is a link at Wikipedia that tells you all about it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doc_Samson

I really enjoyed under the powers section where it says that when he was first introduced that his strengthe lvl was based on the length of his hair.

1. Idk what's up with Juggs and the gem now. It's in his possession but I don't think he has his old powers back. Do you read New Excalibur? If this was the old Juggs, he would have destroyed those Dark X-Men, Albion, AND Lionheart by himself.

2. Strong Guy was designed to take down powerhouses though lol. The more you hit him, the bigger and stronger he gets.....for a few minutes; after that he has a heart attack and dies

I would put Sasquatch around the bottom alond with Strong Guy and Doc Samson. I woul dhave 9 on my list. But he has that feral fighting style like wolvie which gives him an edge in fights, but not brute power.
