Ok, here is my list. I understand your argument of Dog Brother...but, while the Apes might have appeared without Red Ghost, I still don't think of Red Ghost without those apes. Plus, Dog Brother only appeared for such a short time, got eliminated in the second round...so, I'd sooner have a character with a bit more information about them.

We already eliminated an Ant-man; so I say Keep with this one.

I still have Vindicator (or Guardian) up for nomination; also, I nominated Sin (this is Red Skull's daughter; while I love her character, she's basically just a ruthless, killer Black Widow. I doubt she'd last long.)

I'm okay with eliminating Sin. And we do have Hank Pym, so I'm not against losing Ant-Man (Scott Lang). He's about the same thing but not as smart. And I'd rather keep both Vindicator and Guardian. Unless you're REALLY against losing Scott, that's 2 more gone.

And I actually like those three you mentioned, Phaed. If I had to pick 1 to go it'd be Ink, but I'd rather find someone else myself. I'm leaning more toward Wolfesbane. I don't think she'll make it through round 1. Cameron Hodge (X-Tinction Agenda) has me a bit iffy too. I wouldn't mind losing him. I'd rather lose either of them than Ink.

I'd sooner keep Wolfsebane, and Cameron Hodge did me really good in the competition last season, if I remember right. He'd do a good job. Hey, how do you feel about Richter? We know he has been without powers for quite a while, so he'd just be pre-M-Day...and, really, his power to rattle the ground isn't as impressive as other people.

Okay people, the 512 character Contest Of Marvels Season 3 list is complete... so far.

If you have any reservations toward any of these characters and would like to add someone not on the list, now is the time to do so! And I agree with W's idea. I'm all for people other than Phaed, W, and I to make their suggestions if they have someone they'd like to add that we've missed or cut, but the decision on is it goes through still falls to Phaed, W, and I.

I can say that Dog Brother #1 and Joseph are the only ones I'm going to look to hopefully find a replacement for, so it won't take me long. I figure we can wait a day or two and then call the list finalized.

Once that's done we can start reaching out for people to play and make their lists.

Actually, to Phaed and W. Through all the debates, was it finalized that Dog Brother would be without his pack of dogs? Because if he is without them then I won't bother, but with them he's a good character to substitute in.


SUBSTITUTION REQUEST

What do you guys think of putting Joseph back in and taking out Wildchild? Joseph is a 2nd Magneto, but Wildchild is a 4th Wolverine/Sabretooth/Daken/ and who knows how many other feral characters.

Didn't someone mention Joseph is a more powerful Magneto? Mags is pretty damn powerful as it is.

He doesn't have the limitations of Magneto, but he's more heroic and noble. He won't quite go the distance Magneto will to win, so it balances out. Magneto won't mind a populated area as much as Joseph, who will fight to protect them as well, which can be used against him. His heroic nature is his limitation, like how Sentry's mind is his. He'd be a top tier character but I think he's within the realms of power for this tournament.


And come to think of it he was more powerful than Magneto when Mags was having problems with his power levels and needed Fabian Cortez to charge him. Normal Magneto and Joseph are about level (as the are basically the same person).

Also W, should I get rid of the numbers before the names for your sorting program? Now that we have 512 we don't need them. Plus that way I can divy up the Misc. section so everyone's in their right section for Draft List making.

Yes, no numbers would be best.

And don't worry about taking the spaces out like we did last time. I think I've found a way to overcome that limitation. I'll start rewriting and testing the program tonight.
