Love Daryl. He's changed so much since the first season. Actually opening up to the group and not seeing himself as a lone wolf. He and Rick are practically brothers and I just love how protective he is over the group, how he helps people without giving it a thought. And yeah, for his total badassery in like every episode!

Haha wow. It doesn't bother me but I thought he liked Carol. It's something we haven't seen a lot of in the show. Mostly we've explored his past and stuff, but not that. He doesn't even talk about past relationships so, who knows?

I think, if not done carefully, making Daryl gay could feel like cheaply shoehorning it into the show. I mean they already have a gay character in Tara, but she was gay from the get-go and Daryl is a much bigger character.

I do laugh at the bros throwing fits about the mere suggestion on Facebook though, like Daryl being gay would negate every badass thing he's ever done.

Just cause he hasn't done anything to suggest he's gay to you doesn't mean he hasn't been gay since the very beginning nor has he done anything to suggest he's hetero so it's not shoehorning. It just hasnt been important to his character.

IF, and that's a pretty big IF, Daryl was gay, then I think that would be awesome.

That typed, I've always been a fan of his chemistry with Carol. From what little we've seen of his personal interactions with potential female love interests, I did have the impression that Daryl was simply extremely inexperienced with women for any number of potential reasons (one of which could be that he's not all that interested in women (or men)).

I think it is just an easy way to get publicity and get the fans worked up. I doubt they would make Darryl gay.

I am still expecting Daryl and Carol to become an item, so I'd be very surprised if they went the gay route with him. Not that I would have any problem with it if they did.

I think his dynamic with Carol has always been ambiguous. Sometimes they seem couply, but sometimes it's almost like a mother-son vibe.

Yeah it does, that's why I like it. It could have them become an item and it wouldn't feel unnatural, but at the same time they could stay good friends and that would be fine, too.

Wow. I wouldn't have expected that. At all! But then, he was more focused on hunting and tracking.

Anyone hear about Norman Reedus being part of Silent Hills? Looks just like him in the game.

I could actually buy that he's a virgin. I mean unlike his brother, Merle, Daryl always comes off as asexual. He shows no real sexual interest in......anyone or anything.

That's what I've thought too. Plus at the very start of season 1 he was always distancing himself from others. And I don't think he's really grown up with affection.

the idea of him being a virgin is interesting, but I find it hard to believe Merle wouldn't have taken a teenaged Daryl to a prostitute at some point.

Really it doesn't matter, I feel the second Daryl has any sexual encounter on the show, his death would come soon after, and I don't want that.

daryl being asexual makes more sense to me than him being gay, because like someone else said.. he hasn't show any attraction to anyone
