In Operation: Anchorage, I know it's a simulation and you lose all your items at the end, but do you still gain experience?

I've never even considered used all the drugs and alcohol you find, i've just been picking them up to sell for caps. I think I may experiment a bit, it sounds interesting lol. The only thing i've used so far were the mentats to disarm the Megaton nuke.

There's a glitch/ exploit on operation Anchorage that allows you to keep all your sim items...like the winterized combat armor and stuff.

And as for mixing chems...yao goui meat + psycho= almost instant kill:woot:

Yeah I watched the video you posted, seems like a lot of hassle to me.

So once you complete Operation: Anchorage can you do it again? I realise you can't replay the Pitt missions etc because they're normal story quests, but I assume it being simulated you can go back in once you finish?

Ehh...i didn't posted any video, it wasn't me that figured out that glitch either. It was a guy on fallout wiki.

It is a lot of hassle, but definitely worth it.Especially if you got the Pitt installed so you can take the rounds you got from the O:A glitch and convert it to those rare ammo types like the '44.

As for your question...this is what he has to say about replaying the O:A

If, for some reason you want to replay O:A or you missed your chance to try this, you CAN if you haven't gotten the Covert Ops perk. Just save your game, then delete the content. Reopen your save and save again. Redownload the content, and open the new save. Everything added by the DLC will have been reset, and any items you've obtained gone -- except those that were part of the vanilla game. This means that any Outcast Armor and weapons you looted will still be around, as will any misc loot you picked up in the outpost. Only the new items like the Gauss Rifle, Stealth Suit, and weapons from the sim will disappear. This leads to a few interesting tricks that one can try.

Something buggy is happening in my game. Like some kind of Rage virus is getting spread.
People are just starting to randomly attack me, and each other. There's no instigation, no wrong doing they're just switching sides.
It happened after I completed Operation Anchorage. The Brotherhood Outcasts just turn on me and this woman, WHO WORKS FOR THEM, when we're in the vault.
So I got the items I wanted and got the eff out of there. Then I went to the town on the overpass, forgot the name. I go to sleep there, then I exit the building. Two of the citizens are running around getting shot at by the guard.
Anyone else experience this?

Sounds like normal conflict, just coincidental you experienced them so close together.

I don't know what it is but for some reason after Anchorage the Brotherhood outcasts turn and slaughter everybody. Thank JEeBz for the new stealth armor. :D

@Kakashi, doi, there's a vid for the Gary glitch on the Fallout wiki which I went to after you mentioned it a while back. I should've refreshed my memory before replying :p

About O:A, i'm playing the PS3 GOTY edition so I can't uninstall it. I was hoping you could just re-play it ingame. I'll just make a separate save before doing it.

its supposed to happen if you listen to them talk after you leave the simulation its obvious why

I'm too busy scavenging all my new stuff, fill me in please!

i cant remember i havnt played it since it came out as dlc but there is a mini sort of story behind it it isnt just random

I kinda figured it wasn't completely random when it happened every time I went through the quest, I just googled it. Apparently they're angry and think you shouldn't get anything after going through the VR. F**k 'em. :D

I've completed Operation: Anchorage, was a lot of fun. Glitchy as hell though, the lag was unbearable in parts.

I'm starting to encounter a lot more people with power armour now, which my hunting rifle isn't too hot against. Which weapon would you guys suggest I take out with me for that?

Also, i've focused on small guns so far, i'm lv12 with it at 80. Is it worth raising it all the way to 100? I read that the increase per point for some skills becomes less worthwhile as you get close to it's max.

I usually use the Chinese assault rifle. Cuts down anything.

Leveling any skill to 100 before getting all the bobbleheads or reading as many books as you can is wasteful, but I always max out small guns/lockpick/sneak before moving onto anything else anyway. Nothin was cooler than being like, level 6 with small guns at 100, sneaking around taking out Raiders in VATS with one shot at that elementary school near Megaton.

I completed the Replicated Man sidequest and got A3-21's plasma rifle which is a beast against power armour  I just need to put more skill points into energy weapons to make it more accurate. My small guns is at 92 now so I think i'll leave it alone for a while.

That just goes to show how little exploring i've done, I had no idea there was a school near Megaton :p

Okay this is my third time playing. The second time I played and I have mentioned on here before that I had three followers. Fawkes, Charon, and Dogmeat. I forgot how I got all three of them last time.

Can anyone refresh my memory on how to get all three again?

I checked the fallout 3 wiki and I might have overlooked it.

does anyone know?

I groaned a bit looking at the GOTY edition for $60 as I recall spending $110. But hey I got a premium theme with it. :o

I'm sitting in Barnes and Noble right now. And I'm hearing that song that was played at Galaxy News radio. Its kinda unsettling in some way.

Its the one that goes. "I'm in love, I'm in Love, I'm in love, I'm in love...with a wonderful guy"

Kinda funny to hear that while drinking coffee

Actually that song is originally from South Pacific.

I didn't know that. I'm just saying that is was kinda strange and yet funny to randomly here it today.

Well for the humor. I felt like posting this

It just felt randomly funny.

Also after reading the wiki page on multi companions. I just want to know which one did you guys use? Or how did you do it. This is after Raven Rock for me and don't know if I have missed my chance or not.

I miss having my ghoul/mutant backup it makes me feel like I'm the only person to not have problems with either faction.

Hmm I don't see it (the video, I mean). I use NO companions -- they usually don't help.

Anyway, I'm working for Desmond right :oldrazz:
