The Official Fan Trailer Thread

Wow.

Just...wow.

Despite that I could pick out most of the scenes, I still felt like I was watching a VERY good trailer.

Hat's off to you, sir.

I'm going to be the first to say I thought that was a real trailer....

Drakonius took the word right out of my mouth. Fantastic work, man

That is sooo bad-ass! It's rated 1,000/10 in my opinion. Loved how your got scenes from antastic Four, Watchmen, and the audios and sounds from Star Trek trailers! It looks real!

Glad you made it! :woot:

Thanks everybody!
It's nice to have your work appreciated!

I wish my video downloader app for Firefox was working so I could download the high res version.

Awesome trailer man. props. This got me pumped for the real thing. GL will be great.

So it begins...
Since the casting hasn't been announced yet, I figured I'd go ahead and do a trailer with my pick, Nathan Fillion as Hal. I know he probably won't get it, but at least I'll have this.

EDIT: Here it is folks! Be sure to click the HQ button and enjoy!

Only one word can describe how that trailer made me feel:

ZOMG! :wow:

Truly exceptional work, jpmuftak! You win the internet!

lets hope when ever we get first peak at Campbell's GL its just as cool as this fan one.

*Proud Geek moment*
It looks like Mr. Fillion himself has seen the trailer and had this to say on his Twitter:

"I LOVE THIS! this guy rocks! http://tiny.cc/JIm1I Thanks for that."

What can I say that hasn't already been said? That was a masterpiece.

What programs did you use to put this beauty together?

I used Final Cut Pro to do the editing, and Adobe After Effects to create the video manipulations/effects. I also used Photoshop for a few things.

Who cares what you used to make it, what is really impressive is your editing. You did a great job of finding the right scenes and blending the music and voices in.

Update: I guess you made today's (May 24th, 2009) Screen Rant's picks.

I know it's from the Star Trek trailer but what is the song you've used?

I've been trying to track it down but no luck :(

Great job with the trailer, that was perfect in every way. I showed my friend and he thought it was the actual trailer for the movie.

yea fillion has been a top choice for the role, but we got to remember he is pushing 40s and we know from the actors that have been revealed to have tested/talked with the director about the role are in the 25-35 range and they want a younger hal for the film.

That was totally unrealistic!

...you can't say "Bull****" in a Greenband Trailer.
