Anyone got any good mid to late round sleepers for me? Draft is at 9 tomorrow night

Also anyone I should avoid that seems like a good pick to a noob like me?

Avoid anyone who's injury prone (Welker, Gore) and guys who may be rated high but haven't produced recently like Trent Richardson. Most of the time the top rated overall player at the position you need/want will be a good choice. Especially if you don't know too much about football to choose one guy from the other. I also always try and think of the team they play on, I'd sometimes rather pick a guy playing with Peyton Manning over someone playing with like Matt Cassel or whomever.

Go on ESPN and read up on all their different draft related help posts. They'll pay off as to players to look at and strategies, and theres a lot of good info even if you aren't an ESPN Insider. I'd highly suggest taking an hour or so and brushing up.

Mike Evans of Tampa Bay was the top WR taken in this year's draft. However, in a Keeper league, I suspect some other owner will take him before you are able to get him.

Like mklinban2 said above, I would look at the offense the guy plays on. Virtually any Bronco or Eagle is going to be preferable to any Ram.

So my draft ended up looking like this:

QB - Nick Foles, Phillip Rivers
WR - A.J. Green, Alshon Jeffery, Cordarelle Patterson, Jeremy Maclin, Kendall Wright
RB - Jamaal Charles, Giovani Bernard, Joique Bell, Bernard Pierce
TE - Jordan Cameron, Ladarius Green
K - Stephen Gostkowski
D - Denver, Philadelphia

In addition to this, another player has offered to trade me Jimmy Graham and Larry Fitzgerald for Alshon Jeffery and Giovanni Bernard. I agreed to it, so if he accepts that, then that'll change and I plan to try and get either La'Veon Bell or Doug Martin from my brother for Kendall Write and Jordan Cameron. We'll see how it goes.

So Here's an update on my 3 Fantasy Teams: no clue of draft order, just where I picked first.
.

Team 1 is far and away the best team especially since it's a 12 team league. Team 2 is second. Team 3 has a decent lineup of starters but your ENTIRE bench save Edelman is rookies. That would terrify me.

Okay, cool. Thanks for the help guys. I am off today so I plan on spending a few hours trying to get my strategy together before the draft. One quick question. I have Harvin and Marshall as keepers, no first round pick but two 2nd round picks and was wondering if I should use that for 2 RBs or a WR and a RB. I'm leaning towards 2 RBs since the WR pool is supposed to be pretty deep this year but would love any advice as to the pros or cons of either

Since you don't have a rb you should grab 2 with your next picks.

Ahh my bad, not Marshall. I have Jamaal Charles so I do have an RB1. That's why I was thinking to go with a WR for my first 2nd round pick and then an RB for the second 2nd round pick

I just got offered Peyton for Aaron Rodgers and Jamaal Charles. Doesn't seem like a good trade to me, but it is a keeper league so I'd get him for 3 years

its not trust me, someone is trying to take advantage of you.

peyton may not even play 3 more years

WTF, so the commissioner of my league was late by 1 minute to the draft and had intended on picking up Brees w/ his 1st round pick but autodrafted megatron so the 2nd round guy (who had 3 first round picks) got Brees, Graham and someone else. So now the commish is freaking out saying he is going to dissolve the leauge (which has been running for years) all because he can't get his way. My buddy offered to buy his team and take over as commissioner but he says he won't do it. I used to work with this guy who is the commish and he as always been a super *****enozzle but I never knew it was at this level. Looks like I have to find another league

Yeah you better off just leaving the league.

Well now I have no idea what's going on with the league. I guess the guy is going to take a vote. I still wanna play. ANyway, here is the team I drafted: EDIT: It's PPR btw

QB: Aaron Rodgers (Keeper)
WR: Cobb, Harvin (Keeper), Cooks
RB: Stacy, Charles (Keeper)
TE: Olsen
FLEX 1/2: Emmanuel Sanders, Carlos Hyde
K: Bryant
D: Ravens
Bench: Pierre Thomas, Jordan Mathews, Darren McFadden, Jonathen Stewart, Hakeem Nicks, Ronnie Hillman, Brian Hartline, Devonta Freeman

I like my team, think I got some good pick ups that will pay off in the end

Pretty good team considering the situation you found yourself in. Good QB, solid RBs, lots of different receivers to plug in and out and a solid TE. You should do pretty well I'd think. Sucks your commish is a *****e haha, who misses their own draft? Sounds like his fault.

I know right? AND he even adjusted the draft time to accommodate another owner haha. I'm hoping he was just being a drunk idiot. I really wanna play and have a league I'm in every year with keepers.

I'd love to do a dynasty myself, but I'm having trouble finding enough friends who want to play that I trust to KEEP playing year in and year out. One day though. It's happening.

Which player is a better FLEX option: Chris Johnson/NYJ vs Oakland or Reggie Wayne/Ind vs Denver?

I'd go with CJ2K only because you really have no idea how Wayne is going to play coming off the ACL. If you want the upside play go with Wayne though.

Maclin or D-Jax for Week 1?

Also do I play Denver D/ST? Or pick up Philly who's playing Jax?

Always pick up the D vs Jax Incredible Hulk!

That was my weekly thing last year since I didn't draft an elite D haha.
