I figured I would create this thread , so we could help one another spew advice to each othe about which players we should or shouldnt be starting. Right now Im deciding who to start at runningback between Chris Johnson , Deangelo Williams and Marshawn Lynch . Im currently leaning towards Chris Johnson since he is facing a pathetic bengals Defense and Marshawn Lynch since he is a lock to see the ball 20+ times.

I would probably start Chris Johnson, because Bengals have problems and I don't think their rush defense will be able to stop Johnson. Marshawn Lynch's Bills will face Jags, and Jags have pretty decent D and I don't think Marshawn will be able to put up big numbers this weekend. My .02.

Right now I'm wondering if I should pick up DeAngelo Williams off waiver for one of my teams. I have Frank Gore and Laurence Maroney as my starting RB, and Lendale White and Sammy Morris as my reserve. I know DeAngelo did OK last week, but he may do this week. Unfortunately, I'm 10th out of 10 on waiver list, so I probably won't be able to get him.

It wouldnt hurt to try pick him up, frankly im suprised that he is available considing the solid preseason he had, if you do pick him up however I suggest dropping Lenwale, as I believe that Chris Johnson will continue to eat into his carries as the season goes forward.

With Cassel as Pats' QB, I think both Maroney and Morris will get alot of carries as Belichick will probably try to use ball control and defense to win games. I have both on my team, and it's hard to figure out who will get more touches, so I just go with Maroney for now.

I'm wondering what I should do with Ray Rice....hang onto him until there is word on Willis McGahee or play him and get what I can....

Offensive coordinator Cam Cameron strongly suggested that the Ravens may employ a committee backfield when Willis McGahee's knee heals.

The writing on the wall has pointed to this for some time now. "If we have a group of guys that we know that can help us win," Cameron said, "we'll play them all." McGahee is listed as probable for Monday's game at Houston and will be active, but the Baltimore Sun says he may not start. A three-headed monster including LeRon McClain and rookie Ray Rice appears imminent.

Just a reminder , if anybody is playing the Baltimore or Texans defense or any of the players for those team, I suggest you look for replacments as the game is proberbly going to be cancelled.

I have Delhomme as a backup...should I switch um out this week...Or just see what Carson can do?

Both Trent and Jake are better options than Carson this weekend, but if you want my honest opinion you should play Jake, he is ranked 8th overal in passing and he is facing the bears who are ranked 26th in pass defense.

Leave the Chargers in , as the ravens/texans game is most likely going to be postponed to to the bad weather. ( if the bills are on waivers try and pick them up , they are ranked 2nd in the nfl with 5 sacks ). Id put Rosario in, im in another fantasyfootball sight and every panthers fan there has been raving about him in the offseason saying how he has been phenominal at camp, and from what I saw last week it looks like he has been worth the hype.

Yes , Chargers got run on pretty easily last week, and now they will be without Shawne Merriman.

Just because Matt Cassel isn't Tom Brady, doesn't mean that he isn't a good quarterback.

Im not saying he wont be a good qb, im saying its too much of a risk to put somebody in the starting lineup who has never taking a started a regular season game, I just think he should be kept on the bench for now , and see how he does, if he performs well agaisnt the jets then he is worth a start the next game.

well Troy Smith and Flacco were competing for the starting job until Smith got hurt...there wasn't a dedicated starter yet...
