If it's the entire movie, a cam bootleg.

It it's a trailer, nothing. Call it a cam version of the trailer, anything BUT a bootleg, cause it's not illegal to do that.

In fact, there is no law that forbids you to enter a movie theater with a camera, or orders you to keep your cell phone off. It's just common sense, but no one can kick you out of the theater for that.

BUT they can call the cops while you're taping the FILM, and then... well, it's greek love time with Bubba.

Problem is the technology is advancing so fast, what is illegal, and what is legal is blurred. Laws are way behind the technology.

TEASERS and TRAILERS aren't subjected to copyright laws. They fall under the "fair use" category, so they cannot be considered bootlegs nor illegal.

ENTIRE MOVIES, on the other hand, do count as bootlegs and are illegal.

Plus, Movie Theaters can caugh you if you're recording the movie during the projection, but they can't bar you at the door if you're carrying a video camera.

For the last time: trailers, teasers and general promo material are not subjected to Copyright Laws in the USA. They fall under the "fair use" cathegory.

To let it be really clear: there is no such thing as a BOOTLEGGED trailer.

Open a law book before you start givin "directions" just because you have a mod status. Even Wikipedia will do.
