That's the English language and it's a common term. The Silver Surfer doesn't enjoy working for Galactus but was doing so for a reason but when the Earth and all of it's inhabitants are threatened he "rises up against him" with the help of...

figure it out.

One definition: To uplift oneself to meet a demand or challenge.

The Surfer was basically a slave. In many cases slaves in the past or workers in the present rose up against those that were repressing them or others.

I don't speak Icelandic very well, but what little of this that I can understand through use of context clues I actually agree with. People need to calm down, yo. It's not like the film is going to be a masterpiece of modern cinema, so I think everyone can stand to chill out and not get all geeked up over a teaser.

Dude. It's still a dumb word to use. Why would his "rise" be in the title, when the whole movie should be focused on whether or not he actually does it? He obviously will in the end, but you're ruining character development by giving away the end result of said character development in the ****ing title.

Cause he's rising up againt...

Forget it. If you dont' know now...you'll never know. It's a great title that makes sense. You don't.

Surfer looks crazy.
He def comes of ruthless when he takes Torch in to space and drops him.
This is officially the movie i am most looking forward to in 2007.
cant wait to see Galactus...

Some are saying, oh what a crappy thing they did. I can wait till whenever, and I'll still go see the movie. Saw 1st 1 9 times, and will see this one at least that many, so I think it is a mountain made out of a mole hill. The only ones making a stink are the ones who have allready made up in their minds this movie will stink. and this supports their bias.
