The OFFICIAL FINAL CRISIS THREAD

bart died in his own series. wally didnt die in the crisis. so it's been 23 years since a flash bit it in a crisis. i don't know about you but i wasn't reading comics or even alive back in 85.

and technically, you're not sick of FC, you're sick of countdown, which is understandable.

and even countdown hasnt been overbearing as of late. there's no amazons attack or search for ray palmers or arenas anymore.

Wally was teased as being "maybe dead, maybe not" for a while before people started explicitly saying that he'd just disappeared, so that's not entirely accurate.

right, and i agree crisises are excuses for beloved characters to die for shock value, but saying you are sick of a promising series beforew the first issue is out is a little much.

Well, yeah, I don't agree with seth's wording. I get what I think is his intent, though. I'm kind of sick of the almost exclusively event-driven nature of DC's publishing line at this point myself.

The shadow effect on Hal's chest makes no sense if the lightsource is his ring.

well its not like the rings light source points in one direction..it illuminates its surroundings.

Look at the shadow. To form a shadow like that, the source of light would have to be somewhere in front of Hal, up and to the right.

Haha, a giant Hal Jordan cover. If I weren't already sure I'm not buying this, I would be now.

The covers are shipped 50/50. They haven't shown the other one yet. I'll be buying that one.

So now Libra, not Monarch is forming an army. Sounds like some attack of the clones **** right there.

Is that all Hawkgirl's wings? How does she fit through doors?

Yeah, I gotta admit I like both designs. Human Torch looks surprisingly good.

Who used to have that avy of those awsome mustaches? It changed my life.

I can't wait for Final Crisis 4: This is the Final Crisis for real!
