Is that the third issue? It has stumbled a little. The first issue was number 1, and the second was like 3 or 4.

The Flash: Rebirth #1 was at the #2 spot with Detective Comics being #1 and the second issue was at the #4 spot.

However, the only major drop was between the first and second issues which tends to happen a lot in most series. The drop of sales between the second and third issues really isn't all that much. The biggest reason why is dropped down in the rankings so much is because of two issues of Dark Avengers, the Utopia one-shot, and Captain America #600.

July is going to be an even more packed month where you'll have the two event comics Blackest Night and Captain America: Rebirth which will obviously take the top two spots. Batman & Robin which is a critical and financial success among the fans. The anniversary issues of the Amazing Spider-Man and the Incredible Hulk. The obvious New and Dark Avengers which are always in the top 10. Two issues of Green Lantern which are a part of Blackest Night. The books that I'd watch over the final spot in the top 10 spot next month are the Flash: Rebirth #4 and see if it remains in the top 10 or gets kicked out, Batman and see if no longer being the flagship title and Judd Winick taking over the book from Grant Morrison has any effect, and Justice League: Cry for Justice which I think will see a big drop in the second and third issues because the first issue was nothing but people literally crying for justice.

I thought the redesigned one he has in Rebirth was suppose to be his new suit. It is slightly different right? Or has it been confirmed that he'll get a brand new suit?

they havent shown it yet... hes still wearing his flash costume

Yeah, but it's different isn't it? I thought the Flash costume he had in Rebirth looked slightly redesigned then his usual suit

No its not different.

The suit Wally is wearing now is the same suit he's worn since the 90's.

Althu different modern artist like to make the "lighting bolt" look more like energy.

Basically, the only differences between Wally and Barry's Flash costumes is that Wally's has a V-shaped belt and no boot fins. Barry's has a straight belt and boot fins. Other than that, their costumes should be identical. I haven't been reading Flash: Rebirth, though, so I don't know what looks like what.

Ah, okay, my bad then. I only read the first half of Rebirth and I thought it looked a little more different then I remembered.

Wally's costume has gone through some changes over the years (it started out shiny and with whited-out eyes), but it's been the same since back around the beginning of Johns' run on the Flash comic.

Can anyone give me any info about the new flash on- going with John's please? When does it start etc? And what are your expectations considering Flash rebirth didn't meet alot of peoples expectations.:yay:

Not sure when the new series will officially start...not until next year probably, since Rebirth has been a bit delayed already and is going on until Novemberish.

Personally, I'm expecting the Flash series to be pretty good. Rebirth has failed to meet expectations because Barry kind of sucks in it. But the post-Rebirth Barry in Blackest Night, also by Johns, has been his usual optimistic-yet-serious self and he's been great. So I'll give the new series a try in the hopes that 1) Johns will give me a similar Barry there, 2) Johns will improve his writing of Bart by leaps and bounds, and 3) Wally won't feel too shafted by the new status quo.

Didn't know quite where to post this so I will put it in here. Has anyone heard the song the Ballad of Barry Allen by Jim's Big Ego? I heard it and is pretty clever.

They're still dead, just like Hal's parents. It's the official origin now. I just want to know, if Barry's dad was in prison and his mom was dead, who raised Barry then?

FWIW, part of the solicitation for Flash Rebirth #5

"They always say nothing will ever be the same, but trust us, this one will rewrite the history books!"

Emphasis added by me. I'm with everyone else in saying that I didn't see the point of writing an angsty Barry Allen in the first place, but we'll see how it turns out.

Just read the preview of #4. :down

Overall, I liked the preview. Though it seems Johns is once again channeling his "villain as angry fanboy" powers, this time having Professor Zoom bitter that everyone remembers Barry Allen for his one act of heroic sacrifice, to the point where they've forgotten that he was always "boring".

I do think it seems like we're getting to the meat of the story, at last. Look forward to reading.

Sounds like a very fanficitiony move, which of course isn't so surprising with it being Johns.

Hey! A Red and a Yellow Speedforce!

Maybe there should be Blue, Green, Orange, Indigo and Violet ones too...

Really, is there suppose to be different colored Speedforces now?
