So because people don't quite salivate for Barry's bright red knob -- though I thought Rebirth was doing just fine, but what do I know, I don't sell comics -- they're going to cancel...Wally's second-feature. And Bart's. Huh. I suppose they suscribe to the "It's still a clever strategy if no one sees it coming!" school of planning.

Hey you know what might help Rebirth's sales? It should totally, like, come out or something. They could actually sell it. That might help sales.

I think it's a price issue. With Wally, the book would cost 3.99. If you're not already grabbing readers with a Flash title, it's unlikely they'd pay an extra dollar. Better to set up Barry some more and reintroduce (yes, I know, it sucks that this even needs to be done) Wally and Bart later on.

For the record, Jay's outfit is awesomeness.

Mostly titles that got a price hike, rather than titles starting off with a 3.99 price tag, I believe.

Heck, I know it's an issue for me. I'm not paying over 2.99 for anything except one-shots, mini's and issues with extra pages.

Eh, I've been keeping my wallet more secure by just following characters or stories I really, really like. If I don't instantly get excited at the premise of the story or the characters involved, I don't give it the time of day, let alone any money.

None of that has changed with Barry's series. Jay's has had some good facetime in Rebirth. I don't get what your problem is. It sounds to me like you are just looking for a reason to justify your dislike for Barry.

Kind of the wrong person to be saying it to, I don't dislike Barry I thought his return in Final Crisis was amazing and I'm loving him in Blackest Night - I just think Rebirth is trash.

And yes, Jay appeared in the Silver Age but he was never ever defined as much as he was by writers post-1985. Heck, he was more defined in the last twenty years than he ever was in his own solo book.

I think that is a minority opinion, I think that costume looks very stupid.

Barry's costume could technically be three people, it could be Barry, Wally or Bart. You could see that Tin Hat and it can only be Jay. If you like it or not, it's still iconic.

Despite the joking aspect of this, I wonder if the whole multicolored Speedforce isn't Johns trying to repeat his GL ideas over at the Flash franchise.
