This issue was somewhat heavy with the whole "I died the day my parents died" or whatever. That is Batman's M.O., not Barry's.

Oracle is a HUGE part of the comics man, for a character that could have gone to the wayside we ended up getting this awesome resource.

I know, but ahead of Booster, Ted, Kyle, and Lex?

This was the fans and if you have 4 bat characters in the top 10 why not add a fourth.

DCU IN 2010: FRANCIS MANAPUL’S FLASH

Behold, the cover to FLASH: SECRET FILES AND ORIGINS, hitting in March 2010, a nice little appetizer before the epic meal that will be the FLASH ongoing. We’ll have more details on the issue in due time, but let’s focus on what you see above – this wonderful cover. We roped in Manapul to give us his two cents on the piece, and working on the Scarlet Speedster. Take it away, Francis:
“I’m excited to be starting the book. The entire creative team is looking forward to introducing new ways of portraying speed. It’s also cool that we’ll be introducing a new generation to Barry Allen as well as myself so I’ll be right in they’re shoes of getting to know this guy. It should be an exciting ride!”
Francis was also kind enough to give us a look into his process. Check out these two in-progress images.

Nice! Can't wait to see some new Scott Kolin's Wally West art.

Wow. This is me, shocked. Just absolutely astounded that Ethan Van Sciver could possibly miss a deadline. Can you see it on my face?

Doesn't really matter anyway. DC's been using post-Rebirth Barry in comics for months already and no one seems to mind.

I just wanted Rebirth to be over and now we have to wait til March!

Why is flash drawn here with his costume coming from his ring? I thought they were all playing Houdini with the speed force and pulling their costumes from there now?

Barry'll probably stick with the ring. Johns really seems to like that ring. He gave it to Wally when Barry was off-limits, and now that Barry's back, I don't see him giving it up anytime soon.

At this rate, will the new ongoing begin before Ethan Van Sciver finishes the art on Flash Rebirth #6?

That would be nice. I'd like to get into Barry and Wally's ongoing adventures again.

I have a question. Barry hasnt aged, so has his wife aged in his absense? That would be kind of an interesting concept to play with. I know I would be messed up if my fiance was all of a sudden ten years older and I had not aged a day.

Iris definitely aged. She was brought back in the Legion of Super-Heroes' era after Professor Zoom killed her, and then Barry was taken there just before going back to die in the Crisis on Infinite Earths so that he and Iris could have a brief but happy life together. They conceived twins, Don and Dawn Allen, and raised them in that future era.

Iris finally came back to the present when Don's son Bart (a.k.a. Impulse/Kid Flash) was having problems with his super-speed metabolism and got Wally to help him. She was an old lady by this point and went into seclusion because she was afraid of how her knowledge of the future might mess up the present. But it turned out the future was constantly in flux and she didn't really know anything for sure about the present at all, so she came out of seclusion and ended up adopting the Weather Wizard's son Josh after the boy's mother died.

Although, I'm sure she'll be restored to roughly the same age as Barry at some point.

Yeh she will be reverted to the same age because of her exposure to the speed force or something like that. I would love to see how a man would react to his wife being years older, when the last memory of her was being young and vibrant. Although no writer would have Barry secretly look at the crows feet in her eyes or anything like that because he is just as a big boy scout as Superman. I just think it would be a real look into true love over superficial beauty, but hey we dont read comics to live in the real world.

They did that to some extent with the Golden Age Green Lantern and Flash and their wives. Alan looked like he was in his 30s because of the Starheart and Jay looked like he was in his 50s because of the Speed Force, whereas their wives were both pushing 80 or something like that. But they still managed to be happy.

Know of anywhere to read this?

You moderators rock. I learn something new everyday.
