I think Geoff Johns actually writes Wally's character better than Barry, I've read silver age Flash stories and the Barry Allen there is better.

I love Barry, Wally, and Bart, but Barry is by far my favorite so I'm not completely devastated by this, but still pretty damn disappointed.

I'm not all too surprised. I assumed it would be all about Barry with Wally just being a side character or nostalgic teammate every once and awhile. Hopefully, this means that maybe plans have changed to do a partner series similar to GLC is to GL sometime later

No, I don't. I always read Wally's stories and researched everything before I made my decisions. I listen to what you guys have to say but this guy is saying he won't even read Barry's stories. And so are some other Wally fans. Makes me sick.

Personally I'm sick of characters like Supergirl and Berry Allen who died in epic and meaningful stories getting brough back to life and having their sacrifices cheapened.

Just out of curiosity, how many stories would I have to read before you'd consider my opinion to be researched? I did say I'd probably finish out Blackest Night: The Flash, and left open the possibility that it might change my mind.

Or, you know, some people might just not be interested in Barry. He's been in Blackest Night, Rebirth, and various other comics already, so just about everyone reading mainstream DC superhero comics has been exposed to him. If you were interested enough in Wally to read his comics, that's great for you. Not everyone is interested enough in Barry to read his comics when they're simply not excited for them.

Barry Allen is a Mayonnaise sandwich. Some people like that sorta thing, others would like a little ham, maybe some cheese, lettuce wouldn't hurt. Maybe a tomato is asking for too much.

I still think its a decision done as to advertise the potential Flash film. So that means, no matter what writer, Barry was going to come back eventually. Even if it wasnt for the film, no comic book character stays dead, except Uncle Ben.

and I dont think Barry being brought back has anything to do with a Flash film. I think its more that DC saw they had success with bringing Hal back so they wanted to do it with another character and that the editor prefers Silver Age characters

I don't think Barry's return had anything to do with the movie, either. In fact, when the decision was made to bring Barry back, I recall hearing rumors that David Goyer (I think) was working on a script for a Flash movie based on Wally.

I didn't say your opinion wasn't researched. That pertains to most the other posters here. I actually find it funny that your ego is so irked about what I said that you have to create an account on a different site and try to "justify" yourself to one poster. All I'm sayin is if you profess to run a site about The Flash you should probably read his book, which will be written by the industry's best writer at the moment. Bet you didn't stop reviewing Wally's last stories even tho they were complete ****.
