I'm actually a HUGE FAN of Rules of Attraction.

IN FACT, I love Shannyn Sossamon; too bad she kinda threw away her career.

And Shannyn Sossamon=best smile ever. She's really attractive. Whatever happened to her. She was in like 2 episodes of How to Make it in America but she really fell off

ANd she changed her look for the worse IMO

Van Der Beek did a movie called Standing Still that he was pretty good in playing "a celebrity with a badass persona but actually a fun nice guy in reality" IIRC. IT was an under the radar and low rent ensemble. Nevertheless, I wouldnt be averse to him being Barry

Shannyn's look in Rules of Attraction was ahead of its time, with her indie quirkiness. I'm not a fan of the matron flapper look..

A drunk, drug-addicted college student that's obsessed with getting to **** a girl isn't exactly what I would call an outstanding role. It was a very fun movie, but personally I think that they could have cast Hayden Christensen in the role and he would've pulled it off.

i was just watching The Hangover right now, and i can definately picture Bradley Cooper as The Flash

i was just watching The Hangover right now, and i can definately picture Bradley Cooper as The Flash

IDk when I see THe Hangover I see Green Arrow. Coopers character in the Hangover is actually the opposite of Barry to me

Yeah I don't think Cooper is a good fit for Flash. He's actually my choice for Guy Gardner if they ever bring him into the Green Lantern franchise.

I think the suits in Tron: Legacy might be a nice template for Flash's suit in this movie.

I like the concept of it but it looks a little too late 80s/early 90s at the same time. The Flash's costume is definitely gonna need some modernization to work in live action today. But still, good job... Flash's costume is really hard to come up with manips/concepts.

What is UP with the DC Entertainment announcement?

I just think they keep jumping the gun. They keep saying "Oh, we'll have an announcement by _______" and then something probably pops up and they move the announcement back. They need to stop announcing the announcements, get their **** together and then make their announcement.

Yeah, I agree. It seems like they're a bit of a mess.

Anyway, DAVID GORDON GREEN for "The Flash" director!

If WB and DC had any ballz, they should go for him.

Pffft... Brad Bird, just as soon as he's done with Mission Impossible.

And I wouldn't necessarily say they're a mess. They're just finally getting their **** together, but they kind of keep jumping the gun with these "announcements" and that's pissing people off. But hopefully, GL is a sign of good faith for DCE.

I hope WB considers him or David Gordon Green. Or Duncan Jones.

I feel like the only director that they took a risk with was Nolan. But otherwise, Martin Campbell and Zack Synder are perfectly capable director though not as inspired as Jon Favs, you know?

Maybe it was Bryan Singer who ruined it for WB?

I dont see how Favreau was any more inspired than either of those two... he's a decent director, but I feel like it was the casting that elevated the material.
