i do like most of his films he has done. and he said in interviews he would like to get away from the stifler type of characters. Now which flash would you want him to be wally or barry. I still think since hal is being pushed currently with gl and animated stuff. With barry back in the living world of the comics, he is likely going to be the flash if/when flash does get off the ground for real.

Seriously. I mean, like, I could understand "settling for" Liefield, because JRJR dropped off the book or something, since there's a notable decline in quality. But "settling for" Barry over Wally is like "settling for" two $50 bills, instead of 5 $20.

heck i am not even a big fan of flash myself, i think he is a cool character. So i wouldnt really mind which flash is used. Though with the whole barry's back alive and hal being used for first gl film, i wouldnt be surprised if barry ends up being first film flash too. Personally i would like it to start with him so we wouldnt really need to alter things alot going with say wally first then for some reason to go barry or bart down the road. But we have no clue how things will turn out for the film if it does actually get into full production status.

Uh, yeah. I do. But at the same time, it's not like Barry is an absolute crapstain of a character, either. "Settling for" implies a negative connotation, that, to me, is rather unfair, since Barry's actually a [usually] well written, respectable character.

Flash is a different than GL, for instance. Barry and Wally are equally popular characters, or close to it. Whereas with GL, Hal is far more popular than Kyle, Guy or John.

AS far as Ackles as Flash....I like him. Doesnt really seem like the Barry or Wally type but I wouldnt be mad if he got picked

Most polls I've seen support this, although I'd dare say that Wally often has a slight edge over Barry in terms of popularity.

probably since wally been in the public more last few years since barry was still dead in the comic world.
