How do we know he won't try to stick Rogue in there by the end? Do we know where this leaves off?

Out of idle curiosity has their actual meeting ever been shown? Gambit and Rogue met or where shown together for the first time in X-factor, right? But was there any dialogue between the two?

[it ends when gambit meets storm i think /QUOTE]
The art previews look great. But it seems like its just rehashing what we already know about Gambit's past.

Gambit and Rogue didnt on screen meet until X-men #1...however they were on the same team during the Muir Island Crisis but there wasnt any down time then

Anyone else think the faces all look like garbage? I don't like it.

Actually looks pretty cool from the preview.
You know what.. I always really liked Gambit and Bella Donna together. Rogue at the start always felt like "the other women" to me.
Hating Rogue an Gambit as a couple only reinforces this.

I always liked Gambit all flirty with Storm. :D

My favorite Gambit moment was when he kissed the Jean Grey robot in X-men #1 and got his ass blown up....

Then Jean said she thought he was sexy and Cyclops said he was gunna drop a truck on him.... Greatness....

Hahah PURE AWESOMENESS :woot: I like Gambit with Storm too. Or gambit with a bad girl. I'm telling you guys, that would work out just fine.

mine is when he did the 52 card shuffle on Gladiator's midsection when the team went to get Professor X

Most comics are 32 pages with ads. It's a one shot so we'll see what we see. :)

Thanks! :D
Hey, its out today. Anyone manage to read it? I just managed to get the last copy, so I hope its selling well.

X-men Origins: Gambit and Legacy were so damn good, Carey really hit it out of the ball park today..

I agree. I thought it was pretty good. The only problem was that it felt short. This would have worked much better if they had made it a miniseries. They could have gone into details. But it was still pretty good, I thought. And the art was excellent.

It felt short bc he did alot of jumping. It might have worked better had he focused on just 1 part of Gambit's life.

Was it ever shown before when Gambit got his powers? I always thought it was when he was younger, not as an adult

Gambit origins is out?

As of yesterday. Hurry and by 10 copies!

He first got them around age 14. I think it was around issue 9 or 10 of his first ongoing that Nicieza covered it. Here it seems is the first time his power surge out of control.

What happened in Seattle? Didn't he blow up a play house or something? I recall him and Rogue having a conversation in a ruined building and got the idea that Remy was the one who damaged it. They didn't mention that in this Origins book. I had the idea tha that was the first time his powers had gone out of control.

I have some potentially good news. It's been speculated Gambit was going to get passed over as a playable character in Marvel's new ultimate Alliance game. However, a friend just tipped me off to something that could indicate he might make it in after all. On their website ( http://marvelultimatealliance.marvel.com/) in the Juggernaut's bio files, there seems to have been a mix up in the text files. If you switch the language to Italian and look at the anti-Reg tab, it clearly gives Gambit's bio instead of juggernaut's.

I translated it(roughly) and it reads: " Having lived in the street, Gambit knows what it means to live on the margins of society. Besides the fact that the SRA and virtually identical to the entry of the mutants, and easier to Gambit who wants to help him decide, and not simply do what he was ordered"
