Where are we seeing said profile? I'm getting nothing new on the MUA2 site.

That's the thing... I'm staring at the "Characters" page right now and neither Jean nor Gambit are there. Can you link me?

I don't like his hair. It should be spikey when he wears the headband. Other than that it's a cool costume.

Thanks. It did eventually show up for me, about a day after I made my post. I don't know why it wasn't showing up when everyone else could see it. Computers...

Looks like the hair in that picture isn't finished yet. It looks different from the rest. Or maybe that's just me.

I think that's pretty much it for MUA2. Pretty good all round, but not perfect. Looks like they went with Noir's Adrian Brody-a-like for the model again. Dunno if there's much chance of the alt costumes having differently modeled faces. Wouldn't expect so.

I think thats pretty much a given. He also needs his X-treme costume and possibly his ReLoaded one to round it all out

Yeah, definitely. But they never gave him his classic costume. Not in XML 1 or 2, so that's the one i'm looking forward to.

If things proceed with a strict 4 costume rule per character like in MUA, then I think theres a good chance it will be there. XML felt the need to go and throw him in an Ultimate look and that god awful Extreme one they made for the game. MUA went for more classic approach with the characters so I hope they follow up on that

Actually I came here trying to post a question about everybody's favorite Cajun? Where is he??? I'd heard that he had gone traitor and was with Sinister during the Messiah Complex. I don't normally buy the X-Titles but I haven't even seem him the Dark Avengers/X-Men Utopia story?

He's with Rogue over in X-men Legacy. They're having a Dark X-men connected story. He supposedly isn't going to be there anymore pretty soon, though.

Post issue 227 he's supposed to show up in the Legacy Annual in September... he's not part of the main storyline, but has a backstory at the end of the Comic that Mike Carey claims will provide the character direction and "almost guarantee that he's back in a big way in 2010."

So we'll see.

Though it's still okay to hold onto to a little bit of optimism... you've still got Gambit later this month in Legacy, and then the Annual's in September...

Even I'll give it until I see the back story before I go end of days again. t:

Yeah, Claremont's really been conforming Gambit to what he's been for the last few years, rather than taking Gambit to where he was back in the early 90s (like I was kinda expecting).

Shame, wasted potential.

I really, really wish someone at Marvel would pitch him to one of the non X-verse writers. The X-Office right now is more or less anti-Gambit (Carey being an exception, but an exception that's produced a pretty weak Gambit at best).

There are a number of smaller-time roles Gambit could fit into just fine throughout the Marvel U if someone would give him a chance. But they're so dead set on keeping mutants in the X-division...
