Gotta love people conveniently switching teams for the sake of a story, eh?

And that was me playing by not commenting on the author's motivations. :wow:

I don't know. If they keep penciling Gambit that way then he may not have to "switch" at all...

Bah! I mean, what the hell is that panel supposed to be?!?!?!

Maybe they're going to be cross-advertising with a shampoo brand?

Throw in razors, too.

There's just something wrong with facial hair and such girly facial features/hair.

It's so bad that I can ignore the fact that the cards they lazily scanned in look horrendous.

That, and there's just a WTF quality to the way he's holding the bloody cards. :wow:

And how they look larger than his head...

Then again, I've learned anything about Bachalo, it's that the human head is actually the SMALLEST part of a person's body.

*insert joke about how the guy didn't score A's in human biology*

If only it was just about boobs. Christ, this just might be an actual condition. :wow: :wow: :wow:

What's even better is that in some of the panels he manages to make characters' faces look... well... flat as opposed to 2-D like the rest of their bodies.

Seriously, the only reason I'm buying the next couple of issues of Adjectiveless is the crossover. The art counts as about, what, twenty bloody ticks in the CONS column??? *shakes head*

And just out of the blue... was there a WORSE rendition of Emma Frost in recent history than that panel in #200??? :wow:

Shure Gambit looks bad in that panel, but I think he looks fine in the other panels he is in.

"Remy Lebeau. Gambit. Former member of the X Men. Former Horsemen of Apocolypse. Current Butthole."

Narration from C/D 42. :)

Sometimes the little things are the funniest.

BTW Slant... I'm not going to be able to get C&DP until at least the weekend. Could you hit me up with a spoiler tagged summary?

The doll scene is a bit different in C/D, as its a spiderman doll. The dialogue is a bit different than the part we saw in the X Men Preview pages.
Cable talks to Deadpool about some backup bypass with the future info on there. There's a panel showing Gambit listening in on them. Cable and Deadpool split paths, and Cable gets attacked by Gambit. Deadpool is looking for the backup and gets attacked by the acolyte Senyaka.

Cable and Gambit fight a bit, before Sunfire jumps in. They're handling him pretty easily at this point. Cable leads them into some building before giving the command for the place to explode. He bodyslides Deadpool out of there, and the explosion seemingly takes out Cable. They show Gambit and Sunfire moving out.

It goes back to Deadpool who says "I wasn't worth it", and "I won't let you down".

Thanks.

Geez, it's good to know that Marvel makes sure their writers and artists are on the same page when it comes to COMICS THAT RELEASE THE SAME DAMN DAY. :whatever:

Does anybody have some pics of Gambit in X-men 200?

Hit up the X-Men Discussion thread. There's a preview that has a few panels with him, and one big full pager that looks absolutely horrendous. If it upsets you as much as it did me, you can check out the discussion we had about it a few pages back...

Just thought to spice up the thread a bit:

If they wanted to go with the long hair look so bad, the first one is perfect. He still looks manly.

Do you guys thing the other panels of Gambit look bad too? I rather like the other panels.

i like it to, hes hair is a little wierd, but its way better then Bachalo used to draw gambit. I like it :)

Oh, I know. Someone posted a Bachalo pic from one of the AoA books a while back and Gambit looked horrid. I was bracing myself for the worst, but was pleasantly surprised. :D

Well, he just went from horrid to female.

I don't know WHAT Bachalo was going for with that panel.
