that means they didn't care at all about the success of that latest series.

I don't think they cared about any of the series; they were released just as X2 came out to pick up some extra money from the movies. I don't know why they did a gambit one though, he wasn't even in the film.

It was better than the Rogue one. That one was kind of a mess. Confusing.

It got some good buzz at the time, but that seems to have changed, judging by the rogue fans i asked. All i know about the series is that the dude made Gambit a complete tool. Had him walking into trees and stuff.

It did. They made him look kinda bad, like he couldn't be trusted, he just didn't understand poor Rogue's plight, yadda yadda.... I didn't care for it. The only reason I picked it up was because he was going to be in it and I was disappointed.

The bizarre thing is that the writer actually came to like gambit's character after writing him in that series when before he hated him.

LOL, that is odd. Though when writing a fanfic a person can grow to love a character because in that one instance, they are in control. You fall in love with that "version" of them, but not neccessairly the one the character's creater intended.

LOL, I'd love to hear your feedback. It is really really long, that's all. It's less of a single story and mroe like an ongoing comic. I also have the very beginning of it here in the fanfic section of you just wanted to sample how it starts. At least here I've got the pictures inbedded in the story the way it should be. Fanfiction.net doesn't let me put the pictures in.

If he sees that picture, he'd probably retcon Fish-Gambit into a female.
